I recently completed successful surgical treatment for Lymphedema with Dr. Jay Granzow, and I couldn’t be more pleased. When I first met him a year and a half ago, I’d been living with increasingly problematic Upper Extremity Lymphedema as a result of breast cancer for over a decade. Despite good therapy and diligent self-care, my quality of life was going downhill. Being in my early sixties, it was clear that the discomfort, infection risks, and lost ability to pursue my career as a classical pianist would never improve with standard treatment, but would only deteriorate further. So, when I learned from my Lymphedema therapist about Dr. Granzow’s reputation and pioneering work, I scheduled a consultation. Dr. Granzow struck me as competent and caring from the moment I met him. Best of all, he wanted to be very clear on my particular history and present condition, and then objectively determine whether or not I was a candidate for surgical treatment. And he wanted me to understand the treatments he specializes in, so he sent me home with several of his many peer-reviewed medical journal articles. After tests determined that I was a candidate, I underwent two stages of surgery, with life-changing results. Some of the recovery was tough, but I’ve gotten a huge prize: in a word, stability! I can again pursue my career and other physical activities, the risk of infection is virtually gone, I’m comfortable, and I am free of compression garments for a good part of every day. Each one of these is a gift I never thought possible. Dr. Granzow and his staff are passionate about what they do, and work as a team for their patients. I’ve not only benefited from their expertise, but Dr. Granzow and his staff have always shown genuine concern for my welfare. Not all Lymphedema surgeons are the same. The special skills required for such complex treatment are incredibly varied. I am grateful that Dr. Granzow is very active and eager to continue developing this exciting field of medicine. And on top of that he is a really good human being, as is everyone on his staff. I can never adequately thank him for the difference he has made to my life. I’m proud to call him my doctor – my favorite doctor of all time!

HELLO PEOPLE! this guy is a miracle worker. he changed my entire life. i lived with lymphedema for over 25 years. a freak show because of a GIANT LEG. Being a fairly beautiful woman, just emotionally alone this plagued my life, not to mention the physical challenges. But if you have this disease i don't need to explain the nightmare of it all... LONG STORY SHORT: i had this surgery. my leg is now smaller than the other! i am going to have a second surgery to maybe one day not have to wear a stocking as often. but even if i have to wear a stocking it doesn't matter. i can wear skinny jeans and skirts and not be looked at by everyone on the planet like i'm some kind of freak. i can actually BUY CLOTHING. now hiking and all my sporting activities aren't as arduous as they were. MY LIFE IS 199 PERCENT CHANGED after a quarter century of suffering!! THANK YOU DOCTOR. I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE YOUUUUUUU!! (oh, and his staff is genuinely sweet and helpful and there for you: shout out to Shayla and Gretchen and Julie! woop woop!!!) This surgery was VERY VERY VERY PAINFUL. BUT WHO CARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????

I’ve known several people who have gone to Dr. Li over the years that were all thrilled with their results and I knew from my first consultation that he was the doctor for me. He talked to me like a family member, said what I don’t need but also suggested what I could do and explained the pros and cons of all options well. Recovery was surprisingly easy and I’m super happy I didn’t put it off any longer.

I was going to consult with a few doctors before I chose one, and Dr. Horowitz was the first surgeon I saw. He clearly knows his business, made me feel comfortable from the beginning, listened to what I was wanting, and made suggestions where appropriate. I decided to cancel my other consultations and trust him and it well-placed trust. I've been happy with the results and his follow-up. He also took the time to get to know me and it doesn't hurt that he is involved in surgical missions in other countries I highly recommend him and will use him in the future. He can never retire!

Dr Prendergast gave me a waist for the first time in my life !!! And got rid of my belly fat. I feel renewed and inspired! And she's very nice- with a positive attitude. Couldn't have asked for more!!

In August 2006 i had an excellent elective breast augmentation done by dr william Wennen who was the only plastic surgeon i. The area at the time that i could find. He did an amazing job. Ive had 3 kids so far and they actually still look pretty darn amazing. No complications. Asked for an "onQ pain ball" it was there when i was. I couldnt had asked for a better job. Or a better doctor. As far as i know hes the only one in the fairbanks area i would even imagine going to. So idk why someone would ever say he doenst do the best work, cause he does. And the price is higher because quality over quantity. No matter what the size its still an extensive operation. And if your not qualified your prices wouldn't still be in effect years later. The under 200$ consult was nothing imo. But meh... U could always go someone else and end up on botched (tv show) where u will then need some help who i think wennen compares nicely to. I reccomend him. Its been 11 years. Boobs looking and feeling great! Thanks dr w. Wennen! Wouldnt hesitate to see ya again! V. (Justice) At the time. You and your staff rocked!

I was able to be seen for a consult the very next day that I called, and was in surgery the following day!!! I had a rupture in my left implant of 13 years from a previous surgeon. Dr. Swail acknowledged my concern with a great deal of professionalism, as well as compassion. He removed both implants the next day, and replaced them under the muscle with a new set of saline implants. He was able to spare me any further scarring by going through the original incision site. I'm now only about 3.5 weeks out, and they are absolutely amazing! He was incredibly informative regarding my procedure, and what to expect. He took his time with me, and answered every question in detail. I am very VERY pleased with his work and with my results, as well as the entire staff there! I will continue to recommend Boulder Valley Plastic Surgery to everyone looking for cosmetic procedures. He far exceeded all of my expectations!
