Seattle Style Flooring
600 NW 85th St, Seattle, Washington, 98117, United States
Note: I'm leaving this review for a friend who doesn't have a G+ account. She asked me to share the following:
We went to several local carpet stores for estimates and ultimately chose Seattle Style Flooring because we thought they had the most experienced installers who could work with period detail in our 1921 craftsman home. We were not disappointed. Scott and the installation crew were extremely knowledgeable about how to replace the period trim and how to carpet the "bullnose" staircase. I would also add that they were easy to communicate with over phone and email, returned calls promptly and arrived at all appointments on time.
Holley Floors LLC
6703 Dayton Ave N, Seattle, Washington, 98103, United States
Holley's team did an outstanding job on 1600 square feet of hardwood oak on my 1906 house. Absolutely flawless. And they went the extra mile: gave me several sets of flannel pads for my dining room chair legs.
Great Floors
1251 1st Ave S, Seattle, Washington, 98134, United States
I have been purchasing carpet and tiles from this store for several years and have always received nothing but professional service each and every time without exception. On one occasion there was a product and installation concern and it was corrected without delay at no extra cost.
In general, treat people with respect and you will likely receive the same in return - or at least more often. I for one am grateful to Great Floors for the manufacturers they represent and the products they sale and install. Above all, I'm grateful for their commitment to their customers and to overall quality at every level.

We had a minor flood from our dishwasher and needed our oak floors refinished. Pat Jaeger and his crew did a wonderful job in a timely fashion. We were very pleased with their work and would recommend them!

Left gaps between floorboards, returned to fill after my complaint but gaps still remain and did not clean up the filler left on the boards. sanding job around outside edge of room was very poorly done. Not a good experience for me.
LeBlanc Floors
8501 Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle, Washington, 98115, United States
I had just pulled out all of the carpet in my house to expose the original hardwood (oak) floors. Unfortunately, they were in pretty bad shape. In addition to the scratches and normal signs of wear, there were paint stains, large nail and staple holes, and a few loose boards. The team that LeBlanc sent over were able to repair the damage and stain the floors with a beautiful finish that matched the adjoining wood floors all within a day working morning until night. The job came at an affordable price as well.
Dallas Watson Flooring
5527 Airport Way S #101, Seattle, Washington, 98108, United States
I worked with Melanie, on a carpet replacement that was needed for one of the rooms in my house. I wanted something that matched what we already had in the home for color, but since it was an isolated room, it didn’t have to be an exact match. She quoted me for a lower end carpet to match what we had from the builder, but then she said that they had a very luxury remnant that would fit the room and could install it for the same price as the custom order! Plus they saved the old carpet and installed in my garage coming up to the house door. The installer was so nice and careful which is what you want when someone comes into your home.
Lowe's Home Improvement
2700 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, Washington, 98144, United States
It's A Big Box Home Improvement store, pretty much as one would expect. There's nothing exceptional about it. I couldn't find a small can of WD-40, but then they probably don't have much of a call for the 4oz spray can. They have plenty of larger and even huge sizes and bundled in 2 to 4 packs. I will say that over the past 2 or 3 years the house plants they sell have been a vast improvement, and at really bargain prices, this is the main reason for the 4-stars I give them.

This is just a great company to work with. We've used them for several projects and even for small orders their service is great. I'm shocked at how often they remember our last order - they truly exemplify outstanding personal service. AND their price and selection are great, too!
Vogel's Carpet
8217 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, Washington, 98103, United States
Vogel was absolutely amazing to work with. They took care of our every need, even when we had a bit of an issue with installation (just due to our misunderstanding), they bent over backward to turn the situation around and treated us like valued customers. We would recommend them to anyone considering new flooring. They will take great care of you and treat you like a friend!
