Flooring

While the floors looked GREAT upon completion, within 6 months, only the boards thatLane Hardwoods replaced separated and bowed showing the subfloor in the gaps. I contacted Lane Hardwoods and they came out and filled the gaps, which didn't look perfect and didn't solve the bowing, but was acceptable. The following winter the filling popped out and Lane advised me that it was due to the cold and so-called "movement in my floors" that was not their responsibility, they would fill it again as a courtesy but after that, not their problem. After many back and forths, it became clear that Lane Hardwoods was NOT going to honor it's guarantee of satisfaction, that instead their approach is to blame my floors/house for what looks like shoddy workmanship (nevermind that the ONLY area that looks bad is the area where Lane replaced the wood). So here I am, many, many thousands of dollars spent and a floor with one section, redone by Lane, that looks really crappy. Their ultimate position is... too bad for you. Hardly a guarantee of satisfaction. Condescending, too, in that it's obvious something is wrong with just the place they redid, not the entire house or floor. I will not use them again nor will I recommend them. They might do engineered floors just fine, but based on how they handled this botched genuine hardwood job, I can't in good faith recommend them for anything. If something goes wrong with their work, you're on your own.

Great experience, honest, good price and install

Mike Osborne is amazing. He is meticulous about his work, and he takes great care to make sure everything is done perfectly. We had a water leak under our kitchen sink, which necessitated completely refinishing the hardwood flooring on our main level. Mike will give you an honest opinion of what needs to be done to restore the floor. Then, he follows through step by step ensuring the job is precisely what he promised! He is very personable and easy to work with. We are exceedingly grateful and appreciatative for all of his hard work, and we highly recommend him!

I’m a local realtor doing a flip. I have checked prices and quality in many places. I went to the Lynnwood store and talked to Jerid Morgan. Zero pressure. Very knowledgeable. Great selection. Very good price. Ordered the flooring and it’s WAY higher quality than I expected AND Jerid informed me that I can bring back all the unused and unopened boxes- that’s a huge plus for me. Thanks Jerid and Overstock floors.

Home Floor and Remodel installed laminate throughout one of our rental units. Vlad quickly consulted us on options and committed to a range of dates to do the work. He got it done exactly on schedule. We exceeded his estimate slightly because my unit was totally cluttered (other projects in work) when he was taking initial measurements. Vlad was totally transparent about the scope change and worked with me on a discount for the additional work. The floors and baseboards are fantastic. They did an amazing job. Next time I have a flooring project, I will definitely go to Vlad for my first bid.
