Flooring

This company does all flooring installations for Lowes. DO NOT let them in your home. They did not call in the 3 days to set up the measure. Only after calling Lowe's again were we told someone else would contact us for the measure. They completed the measure for laminate flooring on Tuesday while I was present the whole time. I made sure Jay the measure guy knew we were not taking up the tile that is currently there. He even stated they would use liquid nails on the transition so not to break the tile. He also stated it would take up some of the space on the baseboard but the shoe mold would cover where the 1/4 round trim we had was taller. All of these things are Indicative of planning to lay the laminate over the existing tile. However when we called Lowe's to get the quote, imagine our surprise to find it was $6,000 for 600 feet of laminate. The said we had to remove the tile and put in a new subfloor, which is not true. They stated the sub floor was particleboard which they had know way of knowing because there are no vents in the floor he pulled during the measure. The floor has been there 20 years, and there isn't one single cracked tile or grout line. They simply wanted to make more money. They then refused to give me a quote to lay over the tile. The last excuse was the toe kick on the cabinet height. I died laughing at this point. I asked Randy to come out to the house and see for himself it could be done, he then stated he would see if someone could. I asked to speak to someone else about this and was told they would have to call me. I then asked to speak to Avi the owner but guess what he was not there or available. I then gave Randy my direct number for someone above him to call me back which he said they would. Guess what still no call from Spectrum. I also asked for him to put into the invoice to Lowes the list of reasons he gave for not doing the floor. I now have a licensed/ insured install crew coming to do it for $1000 on Monday with the same warranties. Just cut out the greedy middle man! If Spectrum Flooring didn't have a contract with Lowe's, they would be out of business by now.

I'M IN THIS HOME DEPOT ABOUT ONCE A WEEK. MOST OF THE TIME I GO TO THE SELF-CHECKOUT WHERE CONNIE IS. CONNIE IS GREAT SHE'S VERY HELPFUL VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ALWAYS SMILING.

Very impressed with their customer service! From my first phone call to the product purchase, each person on staff went out of their way to ensure that I was well taken care of. Great place!!

He is a liar! He will walk away from a job with the money you gave him. He will cost you more money to fix your floors because he will purposely mess them up. He has no clue how to install a shower which will cost more money to have them redone. He does not construct bathrooms to code. He will leave bloody handprints all over the work site. He will either delete this post or make up some lame excuse for why he walked out on the job. He walked out because he knew he had been caught in his lie. He is a horrible person! I only put 1 Star so I could write a post. I have tons of pictures of his work if anyone is interested.

I've always have found the employees of this Home Depot helpful. On very few occasions was one difficult to find. Recently I purchased a hot water heater from the plumbing department. The head of that department, Mr.Chris Dolges, went beyond my expectations in not only helping me to choose the correct heater but to even come to my house to make several minor adjustments discovered after the installers left. I consider this to be remarkable and perhaps an indication that the culture is improving from good to better. By the way the installers were also very helpful.

We walked in and looked around for a few minutes before being approached by Jason Frisinger. He immediately asked us a few questions and did not make any assumptions. We explained we were selling our home and it needed an upgraded tile in multiple rooms. He could have easily taken the easy route and pointed out a few products without consideration for our situation but instead directed us to the tile we eventually purchased and glad we did. The selection was chosen in minutes and even though we second guessed our decision a few days later, our newly hired interior designer agreed with Jason validating the purchase. We highly recommend Jason and The Tile Store off of Mopac/290/71.
