Flooring

Not bad, not great.

Great customer service

This organization has done three different project in my home and they have done a phenomenal activity each time. Installers are courteous and professional, always cleaning up and never disrupted my household. The owner Paul will steer you to the right product for your needs each time.

Great Service and quality material.

Top of the line flooring. I was very impressed of what styles and patterns you'll find there. Not your typical flooring company.

If you want the best prices, go to this place. Quality is good and owners are nice people.

I love the personalized service Arcata Profloor provides throughout the entire process - from the estimate to picking out flooring to installation. They have done several jobs for me and my real estate clients and are delightful to work with!

Alves crew arrived like an army of 17 men, ripped off an old wooden shake roof in 5 hours, laid plywood, taped all the seams, felted, nailed up comp roofing with new skylight flashing and all new vent and plumbing flashings. There was a 6 man crew on cleanup... working like mad to haul all the old roofing in tarps across a field to a dumpster. They were done in a day and a half... have never seen anything like that. They were professional and courteous. They loved working for Mike Alves and his sons, said they took really good care of them, bought the best trucks and equipment to make the roofing teams lives easier. PLUS, they cleaned up every scrap. Amazing.... then they came 2 weeks later and installed gutters. Miles was awesome, they did a great job, loved their company. Would give them 10 stars if I could.

Amazing place. Not cheap, but incredible selection of furniture and boatbuilding quality wood and a little veneer. Every time I come there is something different. Cocobolo, purpleheart, rosewood, Hawaiian koa, local madrona, 3 kinds of 'mahogany'. Plus all the standard hardwoods and softwood. Lloyds approved marine plywood. On a good day I can get curly redwood that takes my breath away. And a lot more. They do simple milling and cutting while you wait. Hardware, finishes, professional quality tools. And a lot more.

The staff is so very helpful. Tons of suggestions for our remodel.

Big showroom, friendly staff, professional consultation.
