Basically never opened.

I walked in on a whim today looking for advice on a small laminate floor issue we had. Five minutes later , I walked out with the issue resolved after being assisted by the friendly, helpful and humourous staff. Thanks guys!!

Fantastic visit. We had 23 min until close to make an appliance purchase. With a smile, and a very pleasant attitude, we were helped with our purchase. We finished our transaction with a handshake, a joke.....and 14 minutes to spare. Wish I could remember the salesperson's name. Highly recommended.

Too busy to provide a quote, only available if I want to come into the store and buy something. "Doesn't have time to run around quoting people." Not a good first impression. My family is just moving to the area and needs someone to install flooring in our new home, unfortunately we made the mistake of asking for a quote first.

Stand out design and quality! I cant say enough about Ryan, Jocelyn, and the team...They really did a great job. When I was faced with the unfortunate situation of much of my home needing replair after a fire Quine Design came in and handled not only my Kitchen and Bathroom plans(which were designed to perfection, but everyones partial) they also installed all of the flooring and trim. I wanted fresh contemporary choices mixed with a comfortable natural pallatte and thats exactly what I got! Prices were in line with the rest of the others I shopped around to and when I had an adjustment I needed the service person came the next day. I highly recommend them to my friends, family and Clients!

My wife and I purchased a cottage in the Haliburton Highlands. Because it was originally built as a permanent retirement home for the previous owner, we undertook some renovations to make the place look more cottage-like. This included purchasing various decor items at Northern Expressions over a number of years, ranging from chairs to doors stops. We have to admit that the selection is great at this store. However, our most recent visit was quite disappointing. We had purchased a decorative door stop for $14.99 plus tax, to replace one that had gotten misplaced. When we brought it back to the cottage, the replacement door stop did not work, that is, the portion of the stop which is to slide under the door was too thick. When we came back to Northern Expressions to try to do a simple exchange for a door stop which would fit, we were told that because we had no receipt and more than seven days had gone by, they could not take the door stop back. We explained that we were not looking for a refund but just an exchange. Regardless, the same policy applied. With the assumption that a fair amount of this store's business relies upon seasonal customers, namely cottage owners, who cannot just drive three hours one way from their permanent home in the city during a work day or even a weekend because of other commitments in order to return or exchange a purchase within a 7- day period, you would think that Northern Expressions would be a little flexible or have some discretion in its return policy. Too bad for them that they are not. We were intending to purchase some more items at the time we dropped by the regarding the exchange but after being told that this could not be done, my wife and I had no desire to remain in the store.

We needed a carpet runner for our stairs. Cody and Justin were super helpful in explaining the options. Cody even rushed the binding process to fit our timeline, and delivered the runner to our place! Thanks bunches!

Great place if what your needing is not there he'll get for you

The reno's done for us were awesome...finished a lower level consisting of two bedrooms, great room, three piece bath and wet bar. Tons of compliments from friends who have seen the work done. Good job guys

Had an area rug with a silk pile damaged/soiled from a party. Paid a few dollars extra to have Alexanians send it to their facility for cleaning. WOW, amazing job. You cannot tell where the damaged pile or soiled are were at all. Thank you!!!
