Hearing Aid

I had my hearing tested at the Grand River Hearing Center recently and I was so impressed at the level of professionalism they showed me. They listened to my questions, were patient and made me feel very comfortable. Even though I needed hearing aids, I wasn’t ready and they encouraged me to wait until I was. I would highly recommend this hearing centre to my friends and family.

The service I received at this Hearing Life centre was exemplary. I was there to replace my first pair of aids which were at the end of their life. After examining my hearing, Kelly explained my options for new aids and answered my many questions. She took time to be sure I understood the functions of the hearing aids I chose, and then put in an order for them. When they arrived, she made sure they fit properly, and set the volume to my specifications. I was given batteries and a cleaning kit, plus instructions on how to use everything. I had two follow up appointments, and am now on my way to hearing everything again, with the knowledge that I am free to ask for help if necessary. Hearing aids are very expensive, but I was pleased that there was government and other assistance for me. Consequently, I have help which is affordable. Thank you Hearing Life.

I had a very good experience with Shirley Monk at the Northfield office. I too had Resound hearing aids but they were 5 yrs. old and the new Bernafon's are clearer and have additional accessories that are very helpful. Shirley knows her stuff and these started off as a month trial and then I purchased them. And they also have a dehumidifier chamber container. Looking forward to the next 3 yr. service plan

What a wonderful experience my 88 year old mom had today...everything ran smoothly thanks to the professional service she received. Highly recommend this location because everything was explained to her so thoroughly without much difficulty.

I had originally gone to another audiology practice in Williamsville and was not happy with the sales pitch about various models of hearing aids and I had to insist on them showing me a sample to try for what I might purchase. After a friend had gone to Accura, I then called to be sure they would have a sample for me to try - which they did. I have mild hearing loss in my right ear and mild to moderate hearing loss in my left ear. My friend had gotten just one hearing aid - which is what I wanted to try as well. I dealt with Dr. Mike Schmidt and am very happy with the time and detail he provided to make me happy. I am very happy with my one left ear hearing aid and wear it all the time.
