This company lowballs the initial quote and does not provide adequate details in the initial contract. They then run up the price by adding in change orders for the detailed work. He misquoted a huge portion of the work to get the initial contract. Contractor was never on site to monitor the workers and never showed up at the end to do a site walkthrough / inspection of the work provided. The main contractor Baz is young, very immature and unprofessional. He did not take any notes regarding discussions with me the homeowner and key information was never passed onto the workers, resulting in delays and mistakes. He then tries to pass of the cost for the corrections to the home owner as change orders. Basement was finished without insulation resulting in it being very cold in the winter. Contract was delayed several times as workers were redirected to other jobs. I have strongly recommended AGAINST this company for other friends who are looking for renovations.

We used HMH Building Solutions for panelising our new custom home, and needless to say they did an amazing job. Their work quality and work ethic was impeccable. The work was completed earlier than the estimated time. We are very happy with the results.

I blame myself!! should have researched this company thoroughly!! A friend of mine was buying in the development and I followed suit! From missing upgrades to extremely poor workmanship and customer service!!! issues too numerous to mention! Every day is another day for fixing essential things like security!! The door refuses to engage this was pointed out three weeks ago... promises promises promises! who's up for creating a blog on this builder. I am compling photos to share on the finished product of an over $570K of this builder! STAY AWAY! Upgraded carpet that has pulled up and ripped that will not be addressed by Averton Homes when we bring it up to them, basement stairs are lose and extremely un-level, a concrete block in the basement that is 3.5ft tall a foot wide and 3 ft long that sticks out into the middle of a tiny basement(the excuse for this was " this is how we pour our foundations, there is no structural support in this block"), black fence was put up infront of our house that we were never told about, it was not in any contract and we were never told about it until the day we came home from work and saw the fence in our front yard. These are just some of the problems of dealing with Averton homes. Items that were on our PDI that were suppose to be fixed and completed by September have still not been addressed and trying to deal with Lyla Averton homescustomer care is impossible, it takes weeks and sometimes months to get a response to a phone call or an email. If I could do this all over again I would stay as far away as possible from these people as possible. Do yourself a favour if your thinking about buying one of these homes and stay far far away its nothing but a nightmare and disapointment.

I bought their townhouse in Apr, 2020. They promised to return the land tax deposit of 2020 when I finish the tax payment. You know what, they unreasonably refused the refund after I paid the tax.

I highly recommend purchasing from this builder. Very impressed with the quality and customer care that Country Homes put into building their homes, especially for a large volume builder. I've purchased from other builders and my experience with Country Homes was the best by far. I always knew there was someone there to take my calls and answer any questions I had along the way.

I am very happy with the purchase of my deco home. Their service is excellent. They fixed everything in my home before I moved in.

My parents are thinking about buying an old house and renovate it. We went to Nathan & Sons and we were very satisfied with the experience. The people there were very helpful, patient and professional. If we do build the house we definitely will hire Nathan & son's to do the renovation.
