When I called Karen homes, I was surprised to hear that they were actually affiliated with another company, sort of sister companies. So I was a little un-sure if they will be the right one but they offered a free estimate so I took it. Long story short, I ended up hiring them to renovate my whole basement. it was a big job and I thought they were the best ones for it. I am happy to report that they did a great job. Basement looks awesome! thank you very much!

Delay after delay! Poor communication! Blame city for delaying approval, however, city says Mattamy needs to provide documents. If you purchased a delayed home, I recommend you reach out to Mattamy and Tarion, to hold them accountable for their actions.

The designers are very patient to answer questions.

I received several referrals and ended up choosing Edil north. I needed the job done fast and correctly -- kitchen tile flooring and carpet installation completed before 1 month, since my family was planning to move in at that time. There were many other contractors willing to do the job but I chose Edil after hearing about their authentic italian designs for the carpet. I am a big fan of all Italian styles, and my husband supported me on choosing the majolica tiles for the kitchen. Everything was done smoothly and workers were courteous to my numerous requests. When the job was completed I was amazed at their attention to detail and how fast the flooring job was finished. Bravo! I have no complaints about this company but I will say this -- There was a slight delay to get the correct tiles but they fixed the problem and gave me a follow up call. Great service. Will most likely call them again for another project in the future.
