Home Builder

Montorio Homes constructed a full house build which we still own today. It has been 5 years since the constuction of the home, and there have been no issues with any of the building materials from the initial concrete all the way to the finishing. By far the best value and open building system in our current market. I was provided with Excel spreadsheets with all the material and labour cost sheets attached. There were no mystery prices or vague costs associated with the home. Every cost, including all sub-contracts, was listed clearly on the spreadsheet and this is exactly what was reflected in the costs and receipts. Given all the stories of shady builders and run-away project costs, many people are rightfully scared of building a new home. The system with Montorio Homes made this a non-issue and I would build again.

We recently moved into our Rohit home and, as usual, we are thrilled with the entire process. Between my family members, this is the eighth Rohit property and for good reason. From the first purchase back in 2003, our experience with Rohit has been nothing but positive. The entire process from initial paperwork to move in went smoothly, and when we did encounter minor hiccups, they were dealt with promptly and very professionally. Rohit builds excellent quality homes, and takes pride in their product. Their customer service has always been top notch, and deficiencies were always taken care of as soon as possible. I would not hesitate to recommend Rohit to anyone, and we look forward to many years of enjoyment in our home.

We have had the pleasure of working with New Ground on several different projects over the years. They are well organized and provide an AMAZING product putting customer satisfaction at the top of their priorities. We would highly recommend this company for your next dream home, OR if you are a trade looking for a great company to work for you will love these folks!

It is such a pleasure to work with Canterbury Homes. Every one of their clients we have encountered were ecstatic with their attention to detail and craftsmanship. Monique is very friendly to deal with, extremely professional and has amazing taste. She really tunes into her clients’ wants and needs to ensure absolute satisfaction. We at Urban Granite love dealing with her and we are sure that you will to!

We have had nothing but problems with prominent homes since purchasing in 2020. We have been pushed around, not responded to, ran around in circles with still no step in the right direction. To start we noticed issues before we even moved in and were promised they would be fixed, they have now pushed us to use Alberta Home Warranty after attempts to fix and verbal promises to fix and since it is past 1 year they will not fix it, Prominent homes has now stopped returning phone calls and ignoring emails This company will exhaust your mental health dealing with them. I would not recommend this company to new home builders or buyers

I am a former employee of Effect Home Builders. It was a great experience working with the company. They helped support me through the carpentry apprenticeship program and truly care about employee satisfaction, training and safety. It is a close group that has a positive vibe. I am very proud of the homes I helped build while with the company.

Very happy with our choice of condo living.

Didn"t go in the homes. Drove past to get to park. This is not Mattany homes but park close by. I was in neighborhood. Never went into a Mattany home

We are very happy with our new home with Caliber Master Builder. We looked through 50+ showhomes from all sorts of builders in Edmonton and Caliber immediately stood out for their value and service. We previously built a house with a much bigger builder (Jayman Masterbuilt) and they'd actively discouraged us from making modifications to the base plan by preloading every change with huge upcharges. Caliber, however, worked with us to completely customize the floorplan to our specific needs- it included structural changes such as 10 foot ceilings and rearranging walls and adding doors. They also freely provided us with different basement floorplans custom to our requirements and provided multiple revisions until we are satisfied with the completed design. We tried initiate a similar process with another builder that is next door to the showhome and while they tried, they just couldn't match the price/value that Caliber showed us. We really felt Caliber valued us as clients and wanted us to be happy with their service and work throughout the whole process... - As we were building, we were in constant communication and contact with our salesperson through email and text messages. She would often check in on us and give us news about what's going on. Everything was upfront and we were never surprised. - There were times when we were busy and our salesperson either came in on her day off or stayed late after work to accommodate our schedules. - We wanted another outlet in the washroom that the electrician didn't think would past code. At one point, Caliber's President and Owner Ilia personally came onsite along with our salesperson, and our electrician to discuss the problem- all of them standing in our half-completed roughed-out ensuite washroom discussing various options and solutions until we were happy with what we wanted. - Caliber asked us where we wanted to mount our TVs. They mounted backing plywood to all the TV areas as well as on a ceiling for a ceiling projector mount without any extra charge. - We had a sidelight crack in the first winter. We sent a picture to Caliber and they immediately had All Weather Window come replace it without any questions. - The deck contractor actually installed the wrong material on our deck. We had one conversation with Caliber and the contractors came back, ripped out the wrong deck, and rebuilt a new proper deck within a couple of weeks when it was near 0C weather outside. - Our neighboring houses were being built when we moved in and it messed up our rough grade a bit. Caliber actually sent contractors out to re-do our grade and fix the window wells on our behalf without our prompting. Quality Workmanship - This is our second new house we've moved into and after one year now, we really are happy with the quality of the work done. - We ran into one of the contractors who did the ceilings during one of our early walk-through and I still remember how much pride he had showing us the stepped ceiling he'd worked on. My wife and I were joking that he was admiring his own work but truly, we were very happy with it as well! Overall, we had a great experience building this house with Caliber and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a custom builder they can trust.

Quality. Excellence. Diligence. One of the very best in the business.

Ben was at our house today to fix issues with our house. He fixed them within 2 weeks and would of come sooner if we would of been home earlier. He was able to come the same day we called to do an inspection. Great service

I am a Real Estate Broker with Sable Realty Corp. My client was looking for a new home in Edmonton. We met Moe Ahmad at his show home and were VERY impressed with his outstanding service. He spent many hours finding my client the perfect property that they fell in love with. As a Broker in Edmonton, its always great to work with exceptional people that are well informing and can walk the clients through the whole process of purchasing a new home. It's been a pleasure working with Moe and his team.

No complaints about the house so far except for some minor issues that should be corrected right away but takes weeks and now months for someone from Mattamy to take care off. Have a leak with my kitchen faucet and some water damage from it at the base of the cabinet and have been patiently waiting for someone to help us deal with this issue and have gotten absolutely no where with the warranty management or the rest of that team. All the people that were there when we first bought our house are pretty much gone and I was really hopeful that with the new “MANAGER” taking over things would change but only got worse. A big part of business success is word of mouth and so far Mattamy you suck at customer service for your clients. New buyers be aware. They promise everything before you buy and just like any other builder I’ve dealt before this one is no different. Too bad. Next home definitely won’t be from YOU that’s for sure.

Premium quality built Homes. Great after sales service and warranty. Very affordable prices and many sizes, layouts and designs to choose from. Selection studio has a wide variety of interior finishes to choose in standard.

Great company to work with during the construction process. they really have there stuff together! You can tell they really care! There construction team including Kelvin, Steve and Bobby are great to work with!

Dale Hirsch went above and beyond with my clients who were new to Edmonton. As a Realtor, I truly appreciate your fantastic professionalism and attention to clients’ needs. Much appreciated! -Kimba Adams, Sterling Real Estate

I have recently bought townhome at Larkspur Landing by Rohit Communities. Being first-time home buyer, I was quite uncertain if I will be able to get home at affordable price. but, I am really thankful to Shawn who helped me in any concerns regarding the house. He did a fantastic job in addressing my concerns and issues. Shawn is a thorough professional who provided timely and accurate information. I am really satisfied with the services I got from him. I highly recommend family and friends to contact Rohit communities before purchasing a home.
