In addition to my comments made earlier, I would like to comment further that the hearing system is s controlled that the residence almost freeze. They must have to cover up with tons of blankets. Some residence keep their doors ajar to keep warm. The residents are mostly elderly and nee a very warm place to live without catching flues and colds! As a visitor, I caught colds whenever I visited this winter!! turn the heat on to at least 78 degrees!!

My mom was in a 90 day convalescence at this residence and we could not have asked for better care for her! Although the building is a bit old, the staff, from doctor to nurses to therapists, to coordinators, PSWs and miscellaneous staff were warm, caring, and very friendly. She was very comfortable, and she is one tough cookie to please! This place convinced her that nursing homes are not as bad as she thought they would be. If it was not too far from us, we would have considered it for her future long term care. Thank you to all the wonderful staff!

If you are helping your parents find a retirement residence, look no further. The staff at Palermo Village are fun and caring. My father loves his apartment , new friends. activities and the food. We have peace of mind knowing he is there.

Caring staff, just a very great tragedy it doesn't get more sponsorship - Always looking for volunteers - Sad when we cannot look after ourselves​ and loved ones cannot cope, the only alternative is Allendale, Long Term Care Facility

My godfather used to reside here. Nurses Ilona and Sherry are very friendly. Very comforting bright atmosphere, good food. Rates are cheap.

Clean and beautiful space, very open lots of natural light and love that music is playing all the time. The staff is wonderful often going above and beyond expectations. The quality of care and overall dedication of each staff member is evident in the happiness and comfort of the residents. The residents are treated like family and Birkdale has made this very difficult and challenging transition for our loved one such a positive experience.

My mom and dad are now at Seasons. My dad is in Residence and my mom is in Memory Care. I am so please with the care that they give to both. Seasons does a lot of activities in Memory Care to keep their minds active. Now I have a piece of mind knowing that they are being well cared fore!
