Can't guarantee times so what is the point? If you have an issue they happily tell you because you're poor you're lucky to get any service at all. Half the time the workers never show up and when they do they complain about our building's parking like we have any control over it. Reception is unhelpful and rude. Probably going to have to quit my job to look after my mother full time putting us in even more debt. Really grateful for "the help" guys.

My sister, brother and I very much appreciate the care you and your team at Alternative Home Care provided my father in his last weeks. The round-the-clock 7x24 support provided by your team while Dad was in palliative care allowed him to spend his last weeks in the comfort of his apartment rather than a hospital or nursing facility. I know he appreciated this. Your team were professional, friendly, attentive and caring, always willing to put in extra effort to make Dad as comfortable as possible. This was apparent in the attitude of all your staff assigned to Dad's team. We also appreciated the flexibility shown by your team as we had to deal with last minute challenges to address 'gaps' in the support from other care providers assigned to Dad's case. Both you and your team were focused on Dad's health and comfort. As the 'eyes and ears' for us, you kept us advised on your perceptions and suggestions as Dad's health continued to decline. Alternative Home Care played a significant role in enabling Dad to enjoy his last weeks in the comfort of his home.

Adjusting to living with a family member that has dementia is not an easy task (for family and them!). Thank you for helping to really understand the changes that need to be made and thank you for the lovely caregivers!

I worked at this LTC home for just over 5 months before I was wrongfully terminated. I would not recommend anybody to this place whether it be to work or to place family members in. These people have abusive PSW’s still working in the home, even after numerous complaints have been brought to managements attention. They do not properly clean/sanitize common areas & they have absolutely no regard for the residents. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED & SHUT DOWN!!

My family has been using the caregivers from Thistle creek for the past year. Highly recommend their services, very accommodating, and willing to work with our unique circumstances.

Excellent facility. Great staff; fabulous quality of care; clean facility; warm friendly environment. Low turn over of staff so they get to know the residence better compared to other nursing homes for maximum quality of care. I would rate this long term care home 5+++.

My aunt lives there, great atmosphere for older folks. The staff there are very friendly.

This is not okay. It is difficult making the decision to put a loved one in long term care and it is important to choose the right location. Chartwell Ballycliffe in Ajax has some of the worst care I have ever seen - these people are lazy and incompetent and are 11th in Ontario for Staff to Resident abuse.
