Highland Manor is a great place to ensure the elderly for plenty care they need. I as part of the staff enjoy working there, and hopefully one day to work there in a higher position then I am right now. It is such a gift for those who have a family member as a resident that abides there.

Deborah and Domenic were very helpful to my Mother and I while my Mother waited to have a hip replacement. They were quick to respond to my call and we’re able to put thoughtful, competent help in place right away. I will be forever grateful.

Not happy about this place. Poor conditions and really needs a overhaul.

We hired Premier Home care Services for my Mom and Dad when they became ill and needed help to stay in their home. They worked for my parents for two years until my mother passed away and my dad went to live in a nursing home. During the time they were with my parents they were always reliable and dependable. They always had someone at their home when we asked and nobody was ever late. They tried to consistently send the same person to the home in order to ease the stress of having a care giver in their home. I would recommend them if you are looking for dependable care giving.

A problem with my electric scooter was dealt with quickly from my first call to them (a real live & knowledgeable person answered!), to pick up of my scooter and quick return of it! I highly recommend them, they have me as a customer for life!

I would like to start off by saying that I have no financial ties with Marsdale Manor, but I do have a ton of experience with administration in Care Homes. The individual Clair who made the previous review clearly has insight, but mostly into her unrealistic expectations. First off Clair, the Owners name is Orin not Owen. Secondly what have you done in your life to gage that $45 per day is a lot of money to care for someone? Have you previously operated a care home? It is so discouraging to see people like Orin working so hard with minimal government funding; only to be harshly criticized by people who know little to nothing about the real world costs. Most of the things you complain about are common in Care Homes because many (not all but many) of the people that get into them are come from challenging backgrounds and are people who enjoy causing issues for the establishment because that is easier than focusing on their life's issues. I am sure Orin is working hard to resolve issues and doing so with minimal funding. If you want better then go out and find it, but you'll find better starts at $100 a day right out of your pocket, not a subsidized $45 a day by the government. What you don’t have enough money, perhaps you practiced "poor management" with your money during your life. How does that feel?

I volunteer at Roberta’s place long term care. It’s such an amazing place seeing all the people around me smile and laugh is the best. Everyone likes to make jokes to make me laugh. All the workers are amazing they know how to treat everyone with respect!

Review for Roberta Place Retirement Lodge, not the long term care facility on the same property which I had not visited. Staff appears friendly, helpful, and retirement building appears clean and well kept. Very good selection of daily events and programs residents may participate in.

So glad my family member no longer lives here. Managers dont care about the residents only the business side of things.
