Very welcoming and idyllic location

The rooms have been renovated and are beautiful! The Rehab Gym is also new and spacious. There is an excellent Vivarium which is a Great place to spend with the family when visiting.

We were blessed to be able to care for our mom at home until she was 88. We were able to achieve this through enrollment in the PACE program when she was 84. Our mom thrived here! She enjoyed the activities, was comfortable with the staff and had wonderful dedicated nurse practitioners, nurses, and aides who grew close to her. We gathered with our family to say our final goodbyes this past July. This group of caregivers cried with us. They were like family! We were blessed and grateful that mom transitioned very peacefully. Whenever we had questions or concerns, they were addressed. Our hearts were heavy when mom had fallen and we could no longer keep her home, but through OLV and the Mercy Nursing Facility, we were given another year-and-a-half with our mom! God bless all of these professional dedicated caregivers for this gift to us! We remain sincerely and humbly grateful!

Our family chose CRR because we really liked the family atmosphere of the residence. It felt warm and inviting from the moment you walked in the door. We had checked out other facilities in the area, but felt this was the best place for our mother. It wasn't so big that she would get lost, or lost in the shuffle of too many people. She has been there for about a year and a half and we are still extremely happy with knowing she is there. It has been a huge relief to our family to know she is being looked after from caring staff that know who she is and are interested in her. We have recommend CRR to anyone. It has been the best decision we could have made.

Staff constantly went above and beyond to provide friendly and timely care. Communication with family was first rate.

After living happily at Palisade Gardens for 4 years, I felt that I might like a change and decided to move to the competition. AFTER 1 Week, I realized that I had made a mistake. I called Palisade and asked if I could move back. Not only was I welcomed back, I moved into my old suite. It was so good to be home ask it still is.

Great service with a smile. Carol is a great manager and is always around or participating in events. The service staff are just as good and this place wouldn't be as good as it is without them. Don't overlook this gem in the Orillia South Ward, you'll truly be missing out.
