My Mom has been here almost since it opened. She lived at a couple of other retirement homes and decided to try Kawartha Heights when it opened. She has a fabulous one-bedroom suite. The nice thing about a new-build is that everything is beautiful and new and the room sizes are fabulous! Beautiful bathrooms with walk-in showers, high ceilings, individual climate control, tiny, efficient kitchenettes............I really can't say enough great things about this place. The dining room, outdoor patio and common areas are very large, luxuruous spaces and the lobby has a welcoming fireplace - much like a luxury hotel. She loves the food and, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I'm very happy and so very relieved that my Mom is being taken care of at Kawartha Heights Retirement Living! Take a tour! You'll be very impressed.

To any new people needing help and guidance lookout these people will flustrate you to no ends.They can't seem to keep or hire qualified PSWs. They are not in touch with patients personel needs and I pity the patients who don't have family to advocate for them. They make their patients work around their schedule not the patients. To the patients who are totally depended I hope and pray that you have a loving family to support and care for you cause these people obviously don't.

You never know when psw will arrive. Do not know who and never get get confirmation phone call.

I've never visited a retirement home where the staff are so caring! The rooms are large and bright, the scenery is BREATHTAKING! A place where I feel comforted knowing my family member is cared for!

Sundial is truly a remarkable residence! The residence is immaculate, the staff and director are very caring and the food is incredible. They have a theatre, chapel, spa, physiotherapy staff and a host of other amenities to ensure your loved one stays engaged. I have toured quite a few retirement residences in the area for my beautiful grandmother but we chose this one to call home. Please join the Sundial community you won't be disappointed!

My mother went in for respite care for 5 days. It was a very pleasant experience, always well cared for and the staff were friendly & super attentive. My mother who refused a home even said she liked it & even went on to say the food was good (she is very picky). She even requested to go back.

Best long term care home in the Kawarthas by far. Excellent care, excellent staff, extremely well run. I've worked in LTC for over 15yrs and this is definitely the best home I have ever been in/worked for.

My grandparents had a room here in assisted living. They (and their family) found the facilities and staff excellent.

Rubidge Retirement Residence has very caring, hardworking and professional staff (Mike, Laura, Melissa, Ella, etc. etc.) If you ask for something, the answer is "yes" and they always come through with whatever it is you need. The food is very good and the staff in the dining room are very friendly and accommodating. The nurses are extremely competent and caring. My mother was in Rubidge for a three-month respite stay with moderate to severe dementia and she was very well-cared for during this time. The other residents were very kind and friendly to her as well. My family would like to thank everyone at Rubidge for the kindness they showed my mother.
