The staff are great, the facility is outdated, small and not bright enough. A bit depressing. My dad lived there for about 2 years and was treated very well. They really cared about him. He was quite content there. Very friendly staff, old, cramped building needs to be overhauled.

Visited Strathmere for the time today for an office Christmas lunch. Lovely atmosphere with fireplaces and rustic decor. They even had a bonfire going outside for those willing to brave the cold. For the meal, soup and entree (chicken with mashed potatoes in a cranberry sauce) were amazing! But the dessert could have been better.

A wonderful, caring place. December 2018 my wife has been here for six years and the care is phenomenal. According to the neurologist she is living much longer than expected due to the very good care.
