The view was nice. Location is right by the highway so it can be slightly noisy if you leave window open. Bed was clean. Suggested to wear sleepers.

Built in 1960, management has done an excellent job at keeping these cabins original. That being said, if you are planning a Retro-vacation, this is the place. "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32 "

The usual small town gas station prices are a little higher but the candy bars haven't been there for 4 years.

My daughter held her wedding here. Rooms in need of refresh, getting musty. Bedrooms in suite very small. Food at reception was great. Being from east coast I was skeptical about having fish but it was delicious and fresh. Cooked perfectly.

Good location on tunnel mountain, about 5 min drive to Banff avenue. Nice view from some units. Wildlife can be spotted around the lodge. Staff are very nice. Main issue is cleanliness, not good at all. Poor sound insulation between rooms and adjacent units. Overall I'd would look for a better place next time if available within the price range otherwise I'd come again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Douglas. It's about a 5 minute drive away from Banff Ave so it's nice and quiet. They provide complimentary bus pass so you don't have to drive your vehicle downtown. Rooms are nice and cozy.

While located outside of downtown, the lodge I believe just recently underwent a renovation. All the interiors are comfortable and spacious. Kitchens are provided as well.

Friendly desk staff. Free access to ROAM bus service in the pouring rain was much appreciated. The Inns are located about 1,5 km from the centre; okay to walk but nice to have the bus as a backup plan. However, rooms are hot and stuffy. Balcony door is the only option for ventilation and causes a lot of noise from traffic. Floors are creaky and the carpets are old. They don’t look very clean. Walls are paper thin, so good luck sleeping at night with all the noises from the hallway. Beds are really small. You’ll get 2 double beds, but I’d rather have a proper sized Queen (or rather a King - being used to that as a European...) so my partner and I can fit comfortably into one bed. Bathroom is small and clean on the surface (just don’t look behind the toilet). Towels are a bit limited. Even though the shower is hot and has enough power, the bath doesn’t drain well so you’re up to your ankles in water.

Very pleasant and spacious rooms. On site pool and two restaurants are both good quality. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Clean though slightly dated, with the first big thing advertised being an in hotel liquor store (so many better selling points than that!)... Pool is 'warm' but outdoors, so you'll still be cold as hell on anything but hot days with little wind - it said it was 28°C, but I'd be pushing it to say it was 22°C at very best. The dry Sauna was nice to warm up in though, which after a few minutes in the pool everyone rushed too! Breakfast was great as you're in an actual restaurant, with plenty of fresh hot and good food, pastries, drinks, yoghurts, fresh toppings, and etc.

I stayed here with my friend back in March for a girls weekend and it was great! We stayed in the room with 2 queen beds and the kitchenette. The room was very large and spacious, everything was newly updated. The kitchenette had everything we would need during our stay! The atmosphere of the lobby was super cute! They had board games you could play in the sitting area, the staff was really friendly, and the price was very reasonable! The big plus to this hotel (for me), that in addition to the great features, it’s pet friendly too! So I will definitely be coming back with my family!

Nice hotel! Cool whirlpool that is super big! Shuttle stops out front to take you to the slopes! You're at the end of the strip, so be prepped to walk. We were on a budget, so walked and ate at the foodcourt in the mall midway up on the strip. We had 2 visitors out front of our hotel too! We got warned about -20 temperatures... but lucked out with 0 to +5 on the slopes in February :)
