Hotel/Motel

The good: Friendly staff, will go out of their way to help and assist, especially in the restaurant and the front desk. The bad: Sheets not changed very often. I stayed there for over 6 days, and the sheets were not changed, at least while I was there. The ugly: I asked on two separate occasions and the sheets were not changed. Not only that, it seems either they did not vacuum or that the vacuum cleaner they used was inadequate. Little pieces of paper, etc were picked up, however, previous guests' nail clippings, etc. were seen lying about. Overall, my experience was unfortunate. I hope other HIs will be better managed.

The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and fresh. The staff was very friendly and helpful and took a personal interest in you to make sure your stay was a good one. I'd definitely come back if I needed to stay close to the Surrey Memorial Hospital again.

Very friendly staff, motel comes completely as expected. WiFi is included, but no frills. Exactly what you'd expect from staying at a motel.

This is a really nice place and the staff are awesome. I didn't actually stay here, I dropped off a rail road crew. I did go to the cafe and it looked really nice too. They don't have hot coffee available in the lobby like most hotels though, which as a driver, I was looking for.

I've lived here for almost 3 years, and they have been amazing. And they are very accepting of my pitbull. Awesome management.

Just stayed here for 3 nights for a huge conference while the hotel staff was on strike. Hotel was being run by the 23 members of management, working incredibly long hours doing anything and everything that was needed. I've stayed here in previous years for the same conference and was blown away by the amazing service we received this time. I've honestly never been treated so well at a hotel as this past weekend when the management was running the show. Management were happy and helpful and they went above and beyond to make things run smoothly. Absolutely amazing management team

The owner is a straight up crook ! He evicted me 3 days in to my 7 day stay. Which I did not get refunded in any way. Then after I turned in my key he offered to rent me another room. Unfortunately I did not have the funds to do so or I would have gone straight to the police an had him charged with something. It feels a lot like theft. Steer clear of this guy. I believe he also owns the Bayside motor inn

Great little place clean and friendly superior value

Room is nice, staff as well. Wife complained about being pressured to attend sales pitch for timeshare.

Pros: great view with the ocean just across the street. The hotel rooms have been remodeled recently and they look nice and are very spacious. The beds are quite comfortable too. Cons: when they remodeled the rooms they did not think some things through. Drawers in the kitchen only open a couple inches before hitting the oven and the tack strip pokes through the carpet. You can also only connect 2 devices to wifi which seems silly when the units sleep 8 people.

I like it. I live 5 minutes away and still stay here. It's like a mini vacation to mexico. The rooms and facilities are a bit dated, but personally I think it adds to the character. Word is they are going a full Renovation and rebranding in the near future. Hopefully they don't ruin the vibe.

Wonderfull staff, outstanding staff, squeaky clean rooms

Very clean, older motel, owners are very nice. Great place to crash if you are exploring the area.

We stayed here for a soccer tournament. The rooms are incredibly huge with kitchens. We were able to do in room laundry and entertain other parents without being on top of each other . Service was awesome and I would recommend this place to anyone. Would stay here again in a second

Very nice and clean. Felt very warm and homey. The owners were nice and friendly. Rooms were well kept and with nice furniture

The employees are very pleasant. The accommodations were acceptable, but sparse. No in-room coffee maker, iron or much else. The bed left my back and shoulders sore.

Hosts are very friendly and the rooms are very clean. Airport shuttle available and is $20 less expensive than taxi 🚕.

Always a great visit! It honestly feels like home. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great location and a yummy breakfast. Couldn't ask for more.
