A wonderful place to stay. All the staff are extremely helpful with whatever you might need-a recommendation to dinner or an auto repair. Our car broke down and the staff was helpful in extending and then resending our stay when our car was fixed early. They even sent us off with snacks for the road.

Stayed four nights. The room looked like it had some renos. Pillows were fluffy and the linens were of a higher quality. My room was at the front of the hotel so there was some noise off the busy but certainly not intolerable. 5 stars because of the helpfulness and service of the front desk.

Good for a budget jacuzzi night if you're ok with a little shab. Good staff.

Got in late. The ongoing bachelor party did not disturb us. The room we got was as good or better than best western. Only thing that seemed out of place was the old tube t.v. not Chromecast friendly!

Dancing Firs was a great choice. My stay was very comfortable and relaxing. Mary, the host was awesome and provides a rejuvenating experience when you stay at her B&B. Would definitely return.

We'd seen lots of negative reviews but are not too fussy so went ahead with the booking. Maybe it was the low expectations but we were pleasantly surprised. It's not the Hilton (visually) but it met our needs. We had amazing sleep with our kids in another room within our room, the bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Wifi was fantastic.

I arrived very late and the staff was extremely accommodating. Set me up in a nice room quickly and I had a good rest. Even had a decent breakfast bar.

I would love to give this place less than 0 stars. The landlords are horrible people. PLEASE PLEASE! dont rent this apartment. You will regret this place. Dont even stay here for a night. They are heartless people. Worst experience in my life. They will act all nice but they are not at all. They will "stab" you when you will ask for their help. I would never ever suggest this place to anyone. Please even if you cant find anywhere else, just dont come here. I wish I had read the reviews before and I wouldnt have caused myself emotional harm and torture. WORST LANDLORDS EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a rundown hotel/bar. With a liquor store that closes sometimes before 11pm.

We were in Vancouver on business and stayed for 2 nights. We arrived early afternoon but were able to check in. No problem our room was ready. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were great and we were able to strike up conversations with them. If you are going to eat at the restaurant you better bring your appetite! The food was awesome and arrived fast and hot. We do business in Vancouver a lot. We got to the coliseum in about 20 minutes in Friday afternoon traffic! This is our new go to place when we are in Van. Great rooms,great price,and great staff! Stay here!!!

Nice and clean, great big windows with a nice view. Great pool area with stream room and fitness center. Staff was helpful and polite.

The hotel service staff were friendly and great to work with. The rooms were nice and dark. We figured out on night 2 you need to use the tall fans in the closet for air, remotes are in the drawer. The mattresses were very hard and lumpy difficult to sleep in. Great water pressure. Plenty of places to eat nearby. We did see cops searching a vehicle with a lot of men in the parking lot right outside our room. The interor of the hotel is really impressive with a lot of lush scenery and a really tasty bistro. There is an on site liquor store with snacks and with in walking distance is a grocery store.

I booked a hotel for an employee who was flying to Vancouver to training in June. At the last minute the training was rescheduled. I contacted The Met and explained my situation. I was 1 hour past their 24 hour cancellation policy, therefor I was charged $151.54 cancellation fee. I understand the cancellation policy, but $151.54 is high considering the circumstances. I have cancelled with hotel chains within 24 hours in the past without an issue. I will not re-book with The Met in the future, nor can I recommend them to anyone else.

Loved this hotel! Stuart (sp?) was the best hotel manager. We loved the hotel. Yes, it was old and you could smell a vintage scent but it was clean! The price was amazing for 700sq ft of personal space. And with a Safeway within a 5 min walking distance to make your own meals, it was perfect. Plus the sky rail right there for travel.

Hard to get to and in a weird location, but clean rooms and a great view

Clean hotel for a relatively cheap price, close to the dining hall and the wifi is very fast, can handle streaming videos and large downloads with no problem. The walk to the bus station is about 5 minutes, and is also located close to the Trans Canada trail. Only complaint is that it is on the other side of campus from UniverCity, where the restaurants are located.
