Gaumats was recommended to us and they delivered a very good experience. Their timeline matched our needs well. The slabs they had to choose from were varied and nice. The sales rep took good care and communicated with us regularly. We ended up visiting the showroom 2 or 3 times to finalize the details and handled the rest through email. The installers came and did a very good job, including bringing me in on some decisions that needed to be made since it was a remodel job and there were variables we didn't anticipate. Their price was a little lower than the other bid we received from a larger group here in town as well. Overall a very good experience with a few hiccups that were resolved or a good learning lesson for me (some communication issues that were our fault, not theirs). I rarely give 5 stars on reviews because my bar is so extremely high for that, but they are a definite 4 and I would have given them a 4.5 as well if that was an option.

Can't beat the Whiteshell provincial park. Great scenery and very calming being away from the city out in nature.

Great location for recreational activities especially if you plan on doing any boating.

Brilliant accommodation and spotless

Lovely motel with a wonderful owner. Cottage like setting with a view of the bay. Tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. Nice place to take in the sunset.

Decent end product, but horrible to deal with and bad communication between contractor/ estimator and crew doing work. End product still missing caulk in areas on counter and window. Gap under brand new vanity / cuppboards. Careless workers cleaning blankets on lawn leaving behind screws even one broken razor blade from a utility knife and other garbage on grass. With so many options for home reno around, do your research. It's not like these guys are cheap either.

went for an interview...door to door solicitation for donations. which totally explained the vague job ads and constant follow up reminder emails and phone calls. 5% of everybody they interview make to the 2nd interview. This is job that flat requires what i would call "hard sales" skills. Be warned
