If I could give zero stars I would. I was given VERY poor legal advice by novices to the field, that complicated my case even further. No decent lawyer in the Oshawa area was willing to take my case because I was funded through legal aid. Most would make no secret of letting me know that when I contacted their firm. Eventually I was able to find a lawyer who showed a miniscule shred of interest in representing me, but she basically just took advantage of the legal aid funding and never contacted me again. Her name is Gail McRae and she runs a family law office in Oshawa. The legal aid system proved to be a complete failure for me and my family.
