We had organised the buffalo tour, with a pick up at our hotel with a start time of 12pm. When came the day of the tour we went outside at 11.45 to wait for our pick up however pick up never came. When we called they said they had been here at 11.30, however upon checking our emails and confirmation again there was no indication of an 11.30 pick up time and only had a start time of 12pm. The company kindly arranged another pickup, 10 mins later a taxi picked us up and drove us south on a highway than back for 6 hrs. The driver was lovely however we never recieved the promised snacks and drinks, information on the bison or area and no visit to a community. We were a group of 4 and paid over $500 for the tour and we didn't get what was promised. Overpriced for what was delivered. Could've hired a car and drove the highway for alot cheaper. The star was for the lovely driver we had.

Try avoiding them at all cost. Booked their ice fishing tour, late for 5 mins coz of checking out and they were gone. Even though they have your room number and phone number they don’t bother to call, not even once. Ruin our entire day. When I call to confirm she even accuses you being late for 5 mins, all they can do is full refund no make up plan then you are on your own. Really bad altitude and customer service. Please go to other tour company at all cost.

We just back from yellowknife, we stayed in yellowknife for 4 nights and 5 days, we joined Aurora village for two nights viewing aurora and two days activities (dog sledding and snowshoeing), they provided great service, they had Korean, Japanese, Chinese and English service, tour guides were nice, friendly and patience. We also rented snow jackets, pans and shoes, they all clear and comfortable, they also provided photo service in the night, their village was in the great location, we can easy to see the aurora, it was bright, the teepee was warm, also they put coffee and tea inside, no worry cold season to see aurora. nice experience to join their team, we recommend Aurora village to other people, and we may back on summary season to view the aurora again.

Budget motel, close to downtown

We were really in a bind and needed our washing machine fixed on a Saturday. We wouldn't normally bother people to work on their days off but when we requested it Lloyd told us he'd be here in an hour. He was prompt and had the machine working in half an hour. Great guy to deal with and recommend him. Super satisfied!!!

Very disappointing. They ran out of the item I wanted that was on sale, but as it was on re-order for delivery within the sale period I didn't special order it and they had agreed to hold it for me when it came in. Of course it came in after the sale was over and so they didn't honor the sale price. I realize they have a no rain-check policy, but since this transaction was all supposed to happen in the same week I don't think this applies here.

Impossible to get service there, associates can't run away fast enough. I left and went to Home Hardware.

First of all I need to say upfront honesty and customer service is very important to my husband and myself. When we went to the store the customer service was very good and we purchased two light fixtures that had to be ordered. We were told that it would take two weeks or more which was no problem. We were called this week to pick up the bathroom light fixtures, here is my issue. When I got the lamps home I opened the boxes and found that one was professionally packed and the other was not. The light fixture that was not professionally packed was not in its plastic and bubble wrap was on top of the fixture. I noticed that the wires did not have a protective cap on them and looked used. When I called to ask about it I was told that yes it was the floor model because the light fixtures were on back order and only one came in. I asked why they didn’t let me know that and be upfront and say ...only one of your light fixture came in however we can give you the floor model if that’s OK with you because the other one will not be here till August. However I was not told that. I was shocked when I opened the boxes to see that one was “used” I called and asked several questions about why it looked like one had been used. Of course when I asked if I could get a discount since the fixture had been used I was told that it was not “used” since it was model from the store. I did not argue with the women on the phone-however it is a “used”light fixture, in my mind, because it was attached on a circuit so the lights could come on. Which was demonstrated to my husband and I when we first came to the store. I guess I don’t understand why they were not up front to begin with and give me the option of whether I wanted to wait for the new one to arrive. Their dishonesty makes me question would it take till August for the new light fixture to arrive? Or did they just say that? Again, it is not that it cannot be used it’s the fact that they weren’t upfront and gave me a used light fixture which I paid full price for.
