Lumber/Millwork

Tanja the owner is extremely rude to her customer. completely out of line.

Before the tech industry, before the Rideau Canal, before even the parliament buildings Ottawa was a lumber town. A town which was founded on the sustainable nature and natural beauty of wood. Here at The WoodSource they are committed to continuing that legacy by providing quality wood products to the Ottawa Valley and beyond. Much of the wood is sourced locally. If you want beautiful wood products that offer high quality and a low price, support local businesses and promote healthier environment, Ontario wood is your number one choice. FSC® Certified Lumber, Certified by the Rainforest Alliance At The WoodSource they are committed to accessing wood harvested from renewable sources. When you buy wood that is FSC®certified by the Rainforest Alliance you are purchasing resources from forests that are managed according to rigorous environmental, social and economic criteria that promotes long-term sustainability .

Best place to get hardwoods, plywood, etc. Everyone there is great to talk to and give great advice.

Helpful staff, small town atmosphere

The guys are very easygoing and excellent to deal with. Stock is almost never an issue. Great to have them so accessible both centrally (relatively) and in the east end.

I like it better then home depot....customer service is good ...prices are great
