The below review is how I felt three weeks after I joined U.S.S.D in Sandy: I have been signed up with U.S.S.D. in Sandy for about three weeks and I feel better every time I go. If I am having a rough/bad day, I just go down to the Dojo and feel much better. I am very glad I signed up with U.S.S.D. in Sandy and plan on being there a very long time. Now four years later, here is how I feel about U.S.S.D in Sandy now: 4 years ago I made the decision to join U.S.S.D. at the Sandy, Utah Dojo and it was a great decision. I had never been happier in doing something as active as Martial Arts. Then in 2013 I was called to Active Duty in the U.S. Army Reserves and wasn't going to be able to study there anymore. After I came home from the deployment I had the choice to come back to the Dojo and I didn't. That was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made in my life. I felt like something was missing. A few years passed and then in February of this year, I reached out to the Dojo and signed up again. Sensei Brandon and Sensei Jason accepted me back like I had never left and made me feel like family again. I love studying there. The knowledge and experience that the instructors bring is amazing. Also, the social environment that you are in with the other students is great. I have made some friends at the Dojo that I will never forget. I can't wait to see what new things I can learn and experience with U.S.S.D at the Sandy Dojo.

Great instructors! Constantly findings ways to improve their classes. Owners are very quick to responding to questions. My son looks forward to all his classes. My daughter can't wait to join her brother soon. Denda strives toward strengthening one's character and building upon both strengths and weaknesses, not just the physical aspect of martial arts. They also do a great job reaching out to the community, ie, schools, etc. Now my daughter has just enrolled and loves every class.

I have been studying martial arts at The Dojo- Perry’s Martial Arts for the past 5 months and have loved it! Sensei Perry is awesome and knows his stuff and has trained with some of the greats over the years. I go to the adult group classes, private lessons, and sparing classes there and have been learning so much. He teaches classes to students of all ages and abilities and helps everyone to feel welcome regardless of age or ability level. I would highly recommend coming down to The Dojo. He also does yoga classes which are amazing too!

Probably not the best place for kids. I couldn't get my son out of the house to come to his class. I tried to cancel 3 times but they wouldn't cancel my service. You have to cancel your card to get them to stop billing you. Then they charge you huge late fees. Quite the racket.

THE BEST PLACE TO LEARN JIUJITSU IN UTAH.

My son loves this place! I love Jessica the instructor. She kind and loving and really cares about each child she teaches. She always welcomes our whole family and has a great deal of respect for us as people. My son feels special and he learns so much! My son has made many friends and is so proud of how far he's come. He use to have an anger problem but now he has somewhere to relax and learn respect. I would recommend anyone to this place!

I have been with Pinnacle Point Martial arts for over three years now. I started out shy and uncoordinated and have become the black belt I am today. Not only did it help me feel safer but has helped my mindset tenfold. After three amazing years I can say I will still be here years from now.

“Positive Life Changes!” are 3 words that describe, 1) my personal experience, 2) new Life Skills I am learning and implementing, 3) the training and interaction with Grand Master Kwon, Instructors and Staff at “Master Kwon’s World Class Taekwondo” schools. I have experienced something extraordinary! My overall health and well-being has improved dramatically, over the short time I have been with Grand Master Kwon and the Instructors I have worked with, at Master Kwon’s World Class Taekwondo. I am a native Utah gal, born 50-something years ago. I met Grand Master Kwon in August 2015; at that time I was wearing a walking boot/cast and using a cane, aggravating other current and past health issues. Because of my age and health issues, I never thought I would be able to participate in Taekwondo (TKD). I thought that TKD was only about “punching, kicking, & tournaments.” However, Grand Master Kwon has shown me that this is not the case. TKD is a way of Life! My health, self-confidence, focus, & self-discipline have improved. I have witnessed positive changes in students, showing improved focus, discipline, respect, courtesy, and responsibility, even in the 4 to 6 year olds. Grand Master Kwon, and the Instructors I have worked with at his schools, believe, live, and teach the principles of TKD. His exceptional example, knowledge, and intuitiveness, guide students to learn important technical and life skill concepts in a fun, friendly environment. Master Kwon’s World Class TKD is a place of positive training and learning, in a positive environment. Is it challenging? Yes! Is it worth it? Absolutely! Highly Recommended!

I've trained with this dojo for 10 years now and even though I've expanded to other places I've found this one to be the best. The Sensei/teacher here really focuses on his students' skill and personally teaches all of them whereas other dojos will generally teach an entire class and not fix mistakes because they are interested mostly in the money. I'd highly recommend this dojo if you are looking to put your child or even yourself in martial arts.

They taught me a lot of stuff I have improved my boxing skills I recommend people who want to learn boxing to come here

Mr. Mangum is one of the best teachers ever! My daughter loves going here! She gets so excited when she earns a tab to move up in rank!

Absolute MMA is amazing! After six months of going to Absolute MMA, it has changed my life! I started at 225 lbs and today I’m 192 lbs and have more energy and stamina than ever before. Professor Rob and Professor Pedro have created a challenging and supportive environment at Absolute and truly care about the development of each student from beginners to professionals. It really feels like one big family at Absolute MMA.

Great place to train kids and adults. They promote the discipline of the body and the mind. My kids love to train and when I have time I can train with them. I can also go to the adult class too. It is the best of both worlds for me.

I loved this place so much! I am so proud and grateful that I was able to recieve my black belt here and be apart of the family.

Sensei Diaz is a great teacher. My 10 year old looks forward to going to karate every week and I can see her improvement in just the few months that she has started. His payment system is great and very affordable comparable to other studios and I love that my daughter can go as much as 3 times a week. You should definitely try this out if you're looking for an awesome karate studio for your child!
