anyone who what's to get in fit and join kickboxing do it it's so fun I thought it was ginger to be hard and it is but it will get easier when u get more into it

This is my favorite aikido dojo I have encountered over the years. Training here is so much better than just going to the gym to run the treadmill or lifting some weights. Aikido training gives me a great workout while learning a martial art. Sensei Jan Pop is very caring and puts a lot of attention into instructing his students. I've been studying here with my kids for about a year and it has been very enjoyable. My one younger child attends the kids class, while I attend the older class with my daughter. Everyone is taught at their own pace. For the beginners he is very good at emphasizing the basics especially learning ukemi (falling techniques), so everyone can perform the techniques with a high degree of safety. For the more advance students he covers a variety of advanced techniques along with adding finesse to more basic ones. Whether your goal is to exercise, learn a martial art, or spend additional family time with your kids, Academics Aikido is highly recommended in my book!

My wife Kelly and I came to AMAC as 2nd degree black belts feeling that we were missing something in our training. Thanks to both Debbie and Dan Lovas we both won UWTA National Championships and attained the rank of 4th degree. Also, thanks to their mentorship we have moved forward as school owners ourselves. We would recommend them to any one wanting to better themselves personally, mentally and spiritually.
