My son has been coming to this school for a few months and has loved every minute of. Highly recommend for lil ones wanting to do karate!

The USSD martial art is the same martial art as taught by the monks at the Shaolin Temple in China. It is called Shaolin Kempo and embodies karate and several other martial art forms. It is the most effective defensive martial art that is taught. The principle instructor, Joe Perry, of the Orem studio is known as the best martial arts instructor in Utah Valley. I started in July, 2008 and have been keenly impressed with Sensei Perry and his ability to teach, motivate, and achieve success with both young children as well as adults. Some have complained about the size of the dojo; however, Shaolin Kempo can be fought in a telephone booth. There is ample room in this dojo for the excellent instruction given. I give it a grand 5-star recommendation!

Michael (the owner) is outstanding and patient with my son (13 yrs old). He developed a custom program for him with 1:1 training and instruction. My son LOVES it and is learning a lot. Highly recommend.

I gave trained here since 2011. The class is adult-focused (no one under 18) and is a good fit for working professionals who want to practice martial arts. The class takes a holistic approach to Krav Maga, blending an in-depth focus on technique with a variety of body conditioning excercises. Krav Maga has a reputation for viciousness, and rightly so. This class is a great way learn how to defend yourself and others. But Kat pays careful attention to safety in class to prevent people from being hurt while they're training. The only downside is the space in which we train. can be a little constricting, especially on particularly hot days. But it's worth that discomfort, and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun and rewarding place to learn martial arts.

Great school for kids!

Sensei Judd is great with all ages! My family has someone in every class he offers from the toddler all the way through to the Adult class. The way he works with each age group is wonderful! He's an awesome person and an awesome Sensei. If you are looking for a Dojo, look no further! I highly recommend Freedom Fighters Martial Arts!

My two boys (ages 6 and 9) are enjoying the Summer Karate Program. They are engaged, excited to learn and happy to do the homework associated with their Karate experience. I appreciate the goals and values being taught during the classes in addition to the self defense, self discipline and gross motor skills being practiced (and maybe someday, even mastered!) This is a positive atmosphere that includes individual attention to students.

This is an amazing Martial arts program and Mr Chirrick has been doing this in St George for over 20 years. He is absolutely amazing with children and being that ATA is a national program we lived that moving here our son did not have to re-learn a whole new program.

I drove by this address to try to go to one of their scheduled open mats, but no such place existed there. I went into some of the businesses, and one of the trainers in the weight gym said that they'd been there a couple years ago, but not anymore. This is all pretty strange, considering that their web site references accepting new women students (only) in August 2017, which is last month. I called their number during open hours, and got no answer.
