Wonderful studio with fantastic instructors - truly dedicated to sharing knowledge of taekwondo and helping each student achieve his or her personal best. Recently moved to a larger, more modern location. Larger workout space, plus larger entry/waiting areas and after-school program area. In addition, lots of parking easily accessible, including covered parking. Highly recommend Tigereye Taekwondo.

Having studied martial arts in a variety of different formats and with several different instructors over the past 15 years, I believe that Sifu Dan provides the optimal environment for the cultivation of the martial arts. If one is studying academics such as mathematics or literature, learning is fairly straight forward and the choice of teacher is not overly important. However, true cultivation of martial arts is a deeply personal journey in which knowledge is transmitted from teacher to student. Each student learns differently and the concepts are often very subtle requiring a unique skill set and patience from the teacher to develop the student. One can be a tremendous martial arts practitioner, but that doesnt always translate to being a successful instructor. Those lucky enough to work with Sifu Dan will find both. While large group classes and videos may be the level of depth that many are looking for today when studying martial arts, those seeking a deeper understanding of the principles and practices that truly lead to advanced knowledge need an instructor like Sifu Dan to receive the full martial arts experience as it was intended.

We are loving this place and the people. The top-notch instruction is doing so much to help our family be a strong, disciplined, motivated bunch of people. I am telling all my friends about it too.

Excellent instructors, great for people of all ages and skill levels. I've visited some of the fancier martial arts schools in the Fairfax area - you know, the ones with the slick fliers and the afterschool programs with 50 kids running around... and it quickly becomes clear that they're in the business of building their student base and keeping them there by being a belt factory. Martial Arts on the Go, though, has their priorities set on the real goal of martial arts: being a stronger, wiser human being today than you were yesterday. It's a fantastic environment overall, and people work hard and really prove that they're ready before they move up to the next belt. Kid friendly but technically very sound and challenging for adults, too. Plus, signing up for a membership at this location means you can also train at any of the Capital MMA affiliate locations in Loudon, Alexandria, and Takoma Park. The bottom line: training at Martial Arts on the Go is my favorite part of my week. Come train with us.

During the past 7 years, my three kids have been involved in the Enshin Karate Afterschool Program while they were in elementary school. It's been a great program. They have time to work on homework, get a snack, and then have a karate lesson which builds their confidence and gives them a healthy workout. It is nice that most days they are able to complete their homework so we can focus on family time after work. There are teacher workday camps, snow camps, and spring break, summer camps, that are fun and also give working parents flexibility when they need it. The staff is exceptional and inspires good values and respect in the children.

Coach Kyle Dalton and the jiu jitsu program writ large are both top notch. Coach is a terrific practitioner, but what's been particularly important for me as a new student, he is a patient, knowledgable and highly skilled instructor. The cadre of upper belts in class are an excellent supplement to Coach Kyle's primary instruction.

American instructors but first rate traditional Korean style Tae Kwon Do. These guy are detailed oriented and exacting but that's the way it should be taught. It's not a black belt mill. If you get a black belt from them, you have truly earned it.

Andrew Gause's Martial Arts 🥋 Has been a stellar experience for our family. We tried two other Tae Kwon Do places nearer to our home prior to finding this one that was near my work at the time. I am so glad we found it! First, Master Andrew impressed me with the timeliness of his response when I initially emailed him. Also when we sat down to talk about pricing, he had printed fliers explaining the pricing which was super helpful and something the other places didn't have. This place is super organized! Because of this I didn't feel scammed like I felt at another place closer to home. Second, Master Andrew and his team of instructors are super patient with all of the students and are extremely good at teaching Tae Kwon Do. My kids have learned so much and I am super impressed with their form when they punch and kick. My children have improved focus, attention, and respect. And they absolutely LOVE the summer camps. They would attend all summer long if I let them. They beg me to take them in the morning early and ask me to pick them up as late as possible. We live near the Fairfax, Wegmans, so there are many more Tae Kwon Do places that are closer to our house, but we make the drive because of the quality of our experience and the warmth of this community. Andrew Gause Martial Arts is the best!

My daughter has been going to this location for almost 3 years, and we could not be happier. The positive changes we saw in her was remarkable. The part that I like the most is that both Master John and Master Park teach the kids not only the skills and strength, more important self-discipline, respect, be kind to each other and building their self-confidence. This is something that I as a parent appreciate the most. My daughter loves the place, loves her masters, loves her teammates, loves to be a part of this Taekwondo community. We are fortunate to find this school and the masters.

The Yong In Tae Kwon Do College is headed by a driven, hands on, and extremely knowledgeable master, Master Ark. The successes of his own personal career are transferred to his students through his specific training and lessons. Along with that, the inclusion of a good atmosphere and great instructor led to an amazing experience.

Beautiful place in Vienna. You should visit Tigerden with your children.
