Martial Arts

Master Elmore is the best teacher ever and it is fun. You can do all sorts of things there.

Andrew and his team are true gentleman. Very classy place, with top-level level instruction. Thank you for the hospitality!

Master Han is a World Champion TKD expert. He is an excellent instructor and very good with kids as are his assistants. :)

Han's Martial Arts Academy helped keep me in shape as I have become older and needed to keep my body and mind in fit condition. I would recommend this academy over many of the exercise gyms I have attended in the past. I am now in excellent physical condition thanks to Master Han.

We looked around a bit before we found USA Taekwondo academy and I was so impressed with Master Kim and his great teaching ablities. My family and I are so happy we found this place and would recommend it to anyone looking into martial arts!! My son has been a student for almost a year now and we are thrilled with of all he has learned.

We can’t believe how much our children love karate, and it’s because of the instructors at UKO Karate. The instructors care about each and every student, always encouraging them to do and be their best. We know our children will be attending karate class at UKO Karate for years to come. UKO Karate is helping our children build the skills and the confidence to take on karate... and the world. - Deborah and David Irons

Our daughter has been attending Han’s World Class Taekwondo Academy for two years. Our son has attended for 6 months. Both have noticeable increases in self-confidence and positive attitudes. We researched other Self-defense options (Karate, Krav Maga, and other Taekwondo establishments) before choosing Han’s World Class Taekwondo Academy. We were impressed with Master Han’s discipline and ability to connect to the kids in a mutually respectful environment. Our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. My wife and I have been so impressed that we have recently joined as well!

Amazing service and great help for kempo and karate.

My family has been going to this gym for over a year now. It has become our second home! It is a place where the whole family can participate. My oldest son attends the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Boxing, Kickboxing and Submission Grappling classes. While my younger one attends the "pee wee" Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes. My husband and I both attend the adult Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes while the boys work on their homework. Coach Cindy Hales not only has been a mma fighter, and is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but she understands and caters to the many different ways children learn. She is very patient and is loved by all of her students. My son feels much more confident and is much more disciplined since having started classes at Sleeper Athletics. I would recommend this to anyone with or without kids!

Best experience with martial arts ever! Kids are learning fast and in a fun and serious way and instructors are not only martial arts artists but great teachers and they transfer the knowledge to students in a professional manner! Strongly recommended
