I've been going here for more than a year and 3 fourths and It is amazing, great atmosphere, great learning techniques, five stars all the way. (They have not forced me to do this, it is of my own will. )

I absolutely love all the instructors here. My son can be super stubborn and they really get him to feel comfortable and participate! He enjoys going and loves showing people what he has learned!

Professor Cassio and Team Werneck is the best!!

The experience is unlike any other. The BEST in town by far. The instructor starts class by getting down to the kids’ level and leveling with them, giving them respect, as in-turn the instructors expect respect. Its not a baby-sitting service. There isnt any “student teachers”. Its very structured, yet entertaining.

Sensei Ray Kodani and his family are doing big things in this community. His humble personality and amazing character truly reflect his Martial Arts journey and its an honor to see him pass it on to his students. Truly an awesome guy and some one who I have the privelage to call a Kenpo Brother.

AWESOME GYM!!! Very educational while not boring. The instructors are very knowledgeable and friendly. Its a very welcoming environment and everyone there is friendly. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to learn mma and have fun doing it to go to Redding Submission.

I recently started taking Doce Pares classes at the Filipino Martial Arts Academy of Yuba City. I really enjoy the classes here as they specialize in weapons, specifically stick and knife. The concepts will translate to unarmed combat as well, but Doce Pares will give you the skills needed when weapons get involved. The classes are taught by very friendly instructors in a safe environment and you'll get a pretty good workout. Parking is easy and at this convenient location. Try a couple of lessons, you'll quickly gain some comfort with sticks and knives, a great skill to have, even if you already have other martial arts training.

This is such a great school with great instructors! Gracie barra gyms are always high quality and clean. Simi Valley is lucky to have this world class facility.

My daughter is in the 3-5 year old class. The instructors are all amazing. Classes are fun and structured but provide good variety for learning new skills. I especially appreciate how appropriate the expectations are for this age group.

This is the best class i have ever been apart of. It has taught me so much and even though i don't have a weight advantage like most ppl; that's actually great on my part because with this class you don't really need to be buff and cocky but you don't want to be scrawny either. This class teaches you techniques that will help get past the fear of being taken out by someone who out weighs you. But it also good to keep your body in good shape and health so you can keep up with your opponent while your opponent is trying to keep up with you. This class has taught me how to make sure i succeed and if i fail it's fine. We all have to fail in order to learn why we succeeded.

Great for families, but they will not return calls or answer the phone if you're calling to cancel membership. Go in person always.
