Our son has developed greater self-confidence and focus as a result of attending classes at Tokon, in addition to the physical benefits. Sensei Marcus and Sensei Christina are very knowledgeable, great motivators, and skilled teachers. Highly recommended!

I'm new to Karate and I signed up with Tokon for a New Years resolution to be more active this year 2018. The crew at Tokon are welcoming and friendly. I've enjoyed the karate and the athletic conditioning classes so far. It is a great workout while learning a skill.

Just came back after 20 years and I love it here. The style is one of a kind, Shun Shifu Tan is great with kids and training adults.

Great instructors! Something for everyone , Jiu Jitsu (personal fav), kickboxing , Muay Thai , strength/ conditioning classes ....... Did I mention they are kid friendly ? ( thank god) if you wanna get your body moving for whatever the reason , I suggest this place. In the past I've dropped into different academies/gyms and just felt like they weren't friendly or didn't have great instruction . Ive been a member now for 4 months , I like Modesto Power because of its welcoming environment , and experienced instructors. Very pleased with my experience so far . Chewy, the owner is personable and attentive to his members , beware though he's a talker. lol

As a youth this was my first exposure to disciplinary combat arts. Sensei Gary was the best. Excellent foundation for youth.

Excellent school! Love their attention to kids. Great balance between self-defense and life skills, such as respect and self-discipline. Would give 6 stars if I could!

The Best! I was looking for martial arts classes in Westlake Village and found the Israeli Martial Arts Academy. Focused on fitness and practical self defense, these classes combine Karate, Judo and Jiu Jitsu. We drill knife and gun defense, as well as hand to hand combat. I've never felt more confident or had such a sense of community in a gym before!

I definitely appreciate the instruction given by my teacher very well-versed in a variety of martial arts very helpful and I enjoyed my overall experience of Krav Maga at Premier Martial Arts. I definitely grew as a martial artist. The martial arts teacher is a man of integrity and I appreciate his approach and his perspective on teaching the arts, he has helped me grow tremendously.

Stan has turned an introvert teen into a confident, humble, and extrovert teen. He’s great with Adults, Teens, and Children. This school is a hidden gem. Worth every penny.

Owned and Operated by 8th Degree Dan Black belt GrandMaster Michael Ajay and Mrs. Lydia Ajay, students of all ages get the true traditional values and discipline of what Taekwondo is all about. My children have been with him since 2007 and I am proud to say, as they are, that they have excelled in the art of taekwondo because of Michael Ajay's teachings. My sons are both 2nd & 3rd degree Dan blackbelts. Master Ajay not only instill the proper methods to which every move is applied with great emphasis on proper form and technique, but he instills much needed confidence and drive. Because of his teachings and my involvement with encouraging my kids and helping them train at home, my kids, along with the vast majority of their peers, have become great tournament competitors, often placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd places during these competitions. They also do very well in their academics and have learned to stay out of trouble while having the confidence that they can defend themselves if they ever find themselves in a situation where they would need to. Ajay's karate is truly the finest school to be in and I recommend to any parent looking to place their child in karate to highly consider Ajay's Karate as their 1st option if they live in the South Sacramento/Elk Grove area. It is definetly worth it!
