I'm about a year away from getting black belt and the journey has not been easy, but at this academy, they make it fun while pushing me. I push myself hard in everything I do, and the more I push myself, the harder the instructors push me to do better in my forms and self-defense moves.

Great new gym in Goleta! The facility is awesome - very clean bathrooms/showers, large mat space, lots of punching bags, and knowledgeable and friendly instructors. All levels are welcome - beginners learn basic fundamental skills, while intermediate/advanced are challenged with new techniques. A killer workout and a great way to lose weight while meeting amazing new friends. I love Paragon!

I came to learn Aikido in 1974 but left with a way of life. I learned to be a peaceful through Aikido, I learned to endure through Judo and I learned balance and poise through Ballroom Dancing . Thank You Sensei

I trained here for more than two years and can’t say enough good things about them. Great atmosphere, instructors are very capable at working with students of diffent levels of abilities, degrees of athleticism. Krav Maga is a very effective form of self defense training, they take all the effective tactics from all the other martial arts and apply them to real world scenarios. Pedro does of a fantastic job challenging students -I was constantly surprised at what the students (including myself) were able to learn and put into practice. Sparring and stand-up fighting classes were especially informative and challenging.

This is a Kajukenbo Dojo that offers both Keiki (5 - 12 yo) and Makua (13+ Teens/Adult classes). We decided to join this dojo because of the "Ohana" (family) environment- in addition to the deep respect and support the Senior Leadership of the Dojo has from the greater Kajukenbo community. As a family with blood lines that are part Hawaiian, the Ohana of a Dojo is an essential component for our family. Master Molina, Chief Instructor Nels Torino and SIfu Gary Yumang from the first day of class have not only warmly welcomed my family to Kokua, but have consistently provided hands-on detailed disciplined instruction with deep Aloha (Love). My boys are thriving at this dojo- but most importantly we have gained a larger Ohana (family). Your child and family will learn about focus, honor, humility and respect at this dojo! TIP: The Kokua Dojo is currently holding class in a temporary location inside of the Kinder Dance Studio.

My son goes there for more than half of fis life ( he is 8 know) so it is obvious we like the place and what is happening there. Easy to park and pretty flexible schedule.

I have been training in Aikido here for years and its one of the greatest experiences of my life.

Our son has attended since January 2017. We were immediately impressed with the school from the first day we set foot inside. The Brantleys care deeply for each student and are dedicated to their success. They make it fun for everyone while also acknowledging that it's a discipline. They teach the components of Taekwondo along with personal safety and virtues (many of which fall through the cracks of our society and are poorly taught in many schools and homes). Our son's experience here has been nothing but positive and it's been really fun to watch him thrive here. We highly recommend the programs here. To echo another parent, it's clear Mr. Brantley has found his life's calling. We are blessed to have found the Brantleys.
