We love Infinity! My pre-teen goes here. The dojo is very clean and open, and even the sound quality is great! The instructors are all incredibly talented (and fun to watch! who needs a phone), and so encouraging with the kids. Tyler Shaub is down to earth, and teaches the children not just about karate, but about life. About doing your best no matter what. About being a good person. About being strong. Respect. Confidence. All that good stuff that sounds like "wah wah wah" when the parents say it. The kids definitely listen in class! All the instructors challenge the kids in different ways - and I do mean challenge! They all have different styles, but they all share the same enthusiasm for teaching, and all of them kick butt. The kids do exercise routines as well as learning karate forms and practicing them. They have a YouTube channel available to review the forms as well. This is a great dojo to look into. The first class is free, so it is worth a shot! My son tried it and he wanted to return (which for him was really unusual). Now I'm jealous I'm not taking classes (too many kids, too little time!).

I have seen 100% improvement in my 8 yr old's behavior and attention at home and school. His teachers wanted him to be assessed for ADHD and I did not want to medicate him because I didn't believe that was this issue. Within 2 wks at Kicks Unlimited, I saw a 100% change in his behavior and attention. I highly recommend Kicks Unlimited. The staff are wonderful.

I've trained with this group intermittently over the years when I was in the area. They're not only friendly and fun to train with, but passionate about passing on their skills. Great training for any skill level.

Madison Tae Kwon Do School is the best martial arts school in Madison. Our son has attended the school for the last 10 years. He has achieved the rank of 1st degree black belt. Grand Master Chung does an amazing job teaching his martial arts students discipline, respect, control and self defense. All the Masters and Instructors do a great job. Our son has learned so much and has used so much of what he has learned in his everyday life.

I had studied taekwondo back in high school but hadn't kept up with it. I had very warm memories of my time with the ATA, though, so when my son was 7 I decided to check out ATA Madison West. It was such a great experience that I signed back up as well, and convinced my wife and daughter to join too! ATA Madison West is a very friendly and supportive environment, with awesome students and instructors. Everyone works together to help each other achieve their best, so it's a great place to start even if you have no martial arts experience. While the school is privately owned, it is part of the ATA (formerly American Taekwondo Association) which is one of the largest taekwondo organizations in the U.S. This was a huge advantage to me because the curriculum is consistent from school to school. Even if you end up moving somewhere else, you'll likely be near another ATA school and can pick up exactly where you left off. (My high school studies were in North Carolina 20 years ago!) Fantastic school, fantastic people. Great place to train yourself physically and mentally, and learn some self-defense to boot!

There are many paths to the mountain top as there are many paths that lead nowhere or worse yet, off cliffs. This school is well rooted with a great heritage and won't lead you wrong. While the students may not understand how rare this school really is, I am very glad to be able to be a part of it. This particular dojo has a wonderful friendly atmosphere with a subtle level of seriousness while also allowing one to concentrate and learn. It is comfortable to practice for both men and women! While it isn't for small children there are some young adults who enjoy this school very much. The instructor goes above and beyond what other instructors I have had in the past to help the students learn. It is easy access to as it is right off the belt line in the Sauk Point Square between the library and Asia Express. I highly encourage people to at least come in and visit and get the feel & see for themselves. Not all styles are for all individuals, but the best way to learn what works for you is from experience.

My children just joined the school on the East side, and in just a few lessons, they have changed how the present themselves. Positive learning experiences so far, wonderful!

The instructors and owner are amazing. My daughter's confidence has improved 100% since taking karate. She is able to get up in front of groups with no problem and this has to do with what she has learned from Jeff and all the instructors here. Signing up for this was one the best thing we ever did! I have and will always recommend Karate America!

Professor Gilmar is an outstanding instructor. He is a great person and makes everyone feel comfortable and confident! LOVE this place!

Mr. Roquemore is a fantastic instructor who has an admirable relationship with his students. He started his school by popular demand, and he truly deserves the support of the community. His instruction focuses on positive personal development, respect for the self and others. He is an excellent role model for his students.

Sensei Os Milan's judo resume is incredible. One of the few 8th degree black belts in the world, International Coach, International Referee, Olympic experience. More importantly, not only does he have the unique ability to teach highly effective judo, he makes class fun too. He's great with kids, and not only do they become physically fit learning a martial art, the learn discipline, mutual respect, confidence, and how to become a better citizen. As an adult student, every class feels like a clinic where he shares his best techniques. Try a class, and you'll be glad you did.

I've gone to other martial arts schools and nothing compares to Salick's. We learn realistic self defense techniques and have fun doing it! No contracts either, which is a huge bonus!
