CrossFit Brand X is one of the premier CrossFit gyms in the world, hands down. The trainers are some of the most sought after in the business and the owners are the founders of the internationally renowned CrossFit Kids program. My husband and I enjoy working out together and my children absolutely love being a part of the CrossFit Kids program. We are all better versions of ourselves thanks to the inspiration and instruction we receive from the trainers at Brand X. Safety and proper mechanics are of the utmost importance and we have all been able to improve exponentially because we have been taught proper form and technique. The sense of community is incredible and we are so thankful to be a part of this incredible place!

Clark Gracie La Jolla has been good to me. I started my Jiu Jitsu journey here about 4 months ago and have had a great experience. Many black belts that are helpful and great energy!

One of the best martial arts schools in Southern California. Red Dragon Shou Shu is the only school in the area which teaches true Northern Shou Shu. Classes are offered for women, men, and children. There is also a class offered for those who are looking for a non-traditional self-defense program called Red Dragon Tactical.

If you live in Bird Rock, PB or La Jolla & want a professional but family-style, friendly karate, fencing, boxing or yoga studio, stop in. They're across the street from Busy Bagel. My husband, kids & friends have been going here for years. The owner and boxing coach are now personal, family friends. They are 5☆ all the way & reasonably priced.

Love this family! Proffesor Marcelo has patience and has feet on earth. Mates are awesome protecting everyone in the dojo. You don't stop learning here! On a side note, gained a lot of stamina, confidence and control, lost 10 lbs of fat during my first 5 weeks. They have a noon class that fits perfect for people working around mira mesa. If you are working business hours and can't find a time to learn about your dreams...skip lunch 3x week and join us. You WILL BE hooked! Sincerely. I've been training here since March after being off the mats for almost 4 years and I am very fortunate to have made this decision. Alfredo is a great instructor who conveys his passion and positive attitude on a daily basis. Everyone knows that the attitude of the dojo is a reflection of the instructor. Barum Jiu-jitsu is my home away from home where I can roll at 6am, noon or at 6pm everyday. Classes will have multiple black belts attending. You can train hard or just roll, no one will come off with your arm or foot. I'm 40 years old with a wife, 2 kids and have a client facing job. Thankfully I have Barum Jiu-jitsu to look forward when I need me time. Also, best open mat on Sundays in San Diego.

This is my home school. Professor Ogawa is a fantastic teacher and an even greater man. The atmosphere of this school is family oriented and the other students and coaches are always friendly and helpful. If you're in San, come by and check out a fantastic school. Oss!
