Scott made the process of buying our first home simple and pain free. He answered all our questions about our down payment, closing costs, debt service ratios, and prepayment options then got us an amazing rate with great prepayment terms and portability options. I will definitely call Scott when it is time to renew my mortgage.

We ended up working with Jewels for about six months because of the long lead time to our closing date. In that period the Bank of Canada interest rates changed twice and we changed our mortgage requirements/preferences a couple of times. Jewels was consistently happy to explain and re-explain things, was incredibly responsive and ran endless sets of calculations to help us understand what we were doing. We traveled during the time and ended up working remotely — phone, email, FaceTime, Jewels was happy to do it all. The result was a interest rate more than half a per cent better than what we thought we could get (even after the BoC increases). I would highly recommend working with Jewels.

It would be nice to have the phone number for the Bank itself, instead of just a personal number, as when your not at work others are who can take calls, and make things happen.
