Only reason I choose to come to cross roads over a cheaper place like ihop is because their breakfast menu is much better. Bacon is thicker and crispier, pancakes are buttery and fluffier, eggs scrambled is a larger serving, coffee tastes fresh not bitter/burnt. And their parfait bowl is delicious. The fruit is fresh and granola mix is perfect, yogurt is a good choice too. Only thing I personally don’t enjoy but others do is the grits (ask them about it)

As a New Orleans native I am eager to try Creole/Cajun restaurants in Dallas. Shrimp cocktail was good, 5 large well cooked shrimp, priced at the current competitive value of $10.95. Added avocados were a bastardizartion; their cocktail sauce was very good but a lot was wasted as it filled a large cocktail glass...better to put a layer of crushed ice under it-save money as well as food waste. A nice touch was a side plate for the tails, but it was nit necessary. Seafood gumbo, advertised as New Orleans style, was pretty good but another bastardizartion. New Orleans seafood gumbo is shrimp, crabs and oysters. Here it is shrimp, sausage and catfish. I'll accept the sausage as it is as much a seasoning as a component, but catfish, or any fish, is an abomination. At $4.99 for a cup with rice, priced right. Soft shell crabs (2) were the smallest I've ever had. For $17.95 it was way over priced, although I don't know how tight the supply market is in Dallas. Well seasoned and fried just right. They claimed a special Remoulade sauce as condiment. but it was just tartar sauce. Accompanied by a huge serving of french fries, again too much food waste. Service was very good and prompt.

I love their chicken tenders with gravy. I always ask for my fries to be fresh. The place is clean and they serve the best sweet tea. The staff is usually friendly and helpful

This place robs me; financially and emotionally! Who would pay $12 for a burrito?!?! Then they made me fork over my retirement fund just to get a side of Guac! With prices like that I might as well go punch my cousin Bill straight in the face! Also they claim to be organic… What on earth does that even mean?!?! I’m surprised they still charge so much after the scandal that got a ton of people sick. FURTHERMORE, they give you almost no meat then when I ask for a little more the person makes sure to tell the cashier so they can charge me an entire week’s paycheck more for a tiny bit of meat. 1 star from this Local Guide (TM) without a question! The service and the manager was so good! Betto was our server he was amazing!!! Bernardo the manager was so amazing and helpful!!! I will be back for sure!!!!

So so food. They only made one more pizza for us barbecue. Some of it wasn't very fresh

We like their chicken and the livers.i am not fond of the drive thru. Wish there was a window like other restaurants. I heard a rumor they may be closing this location. Hopefully its just a rumor.

Poor selection, ordered personal pizza, it was burnt and inedible, sent it back. When it was brought to me they said "is this better?" Busing staff was efficient but aggressive and loud. Just not a good experience.

Well we used to eat here quite a bit and everything was always good. The last couple times we have eaten here the food is definitely different. The chicken that we purchased had been sitting out for a while and was very dry. One piece actually tasted bad and we had to return it for a different one. Potatoes had no flavor ,the green beans were good. We ordered a chicken fried steak which was very dry and came with gravy on it when we specifically asked for it on the side so our child would not eat it. We paid almost $40 for a chicken meal for 3 and ended up leaving almost all of it. The people that work there were very nice the food was just bad, seemed old. It was abou 4:45 pm on a Monday. The eating area was dirty as well. I don't think we will be returning.

Good consistent quality and service. Love the fish dishes here. Chicken and dumplings are the best I've had not homemade.

Great staff, a couple of knuckleheads there but it's Freebirds. They are polite and fast, what else do you need?

The Owners are the most friendly and professional people I have met in a really long time. The Empanadas are amazing and always cooked fresh. If I could give them 10 stars they would have it.
