Very comfortable but slightly upscale all-vegetarian restaurant. They have a good selection of vegan items as well, and are receptive to menu-change requests. Their seasonal menu reflects the produce available from the area, and their dishes are creative and well-conceived. Recently had tagliatelli noodles in a nettle and cashew cream sauce, topped with peas and pickled rhubarb -- yum! Good coffee and fun cocktails as well, though it's easy to spend a little *too* much money here. A good place for a date, as it is relaxed yet not too informal.

It was about a 30 minute wait for Sunday brunch and we were unsure if we wanted to stay, but it turned out to be worth it. I had the grapefruit mimosa and avocado and pepper jack omelette and I was very impressed. Also our server was very friendly and attentive. I would absolutely recommend Americana and I'll be back next time I'm in Seattle.

Overall good experience. Solid dim sum, not the literal best in town, but great value. Parking is readily available, unique to most other locations nearby. Will come again.

Fantastic service, but as far as the food goes, it's a far cry from San Fransisco Chinatown food or really any good Chinese/Cantonese restaraunt in California, ESPECIALLY when you factor in the price. The atmosphere was great, as we came in the off hours and got the Bruce Lee booth, but you can't count on getting it, so my review stands. 3 star food, with an extra star for the great service. The garlic shrimp and oyster sauce beef were kinda tasteless, and the rest were all just okay, with the wet beef chow fun being good.

We've been here about eight times now over the last few years and the service is always been very polite and friendly. Great selection as the trolleys move around the restaurant. Very busy during the weekends so getting there early to check in is important.

Life Changing Dumplings!
I never understood the dumpling hype. It's been a week since we went to Din Tai Fung, and all I can think about are dumplings. I want dumpling for breakfast, lunch, dinner and every meal between. The must have are the soup dumplings and the spicy wontons. I'm now excited to try other dumplings and how to perfect them at home. We traveled up to Seattle from Dallas and this was our first stop. Din Tai Fung set the bar extremely high for the entire trip. I'm Dying to go back

Combine a server who acts as though it is a burden to serve you and neighboring tables, with overcooked (almost burned) chicken, and an "apology" that the biscuits will come 20 minutes later.......and you have a bad dining experience. We were very disappointed. Don't order a beer with a chaser as one person did she lied to him and said the "State has a law that you can only have one drink in front of you." Poor food, worse service.....oh the biscuits...they came out 40 minutes later when we wanted our check!!!! No discount was offered?!!!?! I do know from experience, biscuits take 7 minutes to make.
