AVOID THIS SERVICE. BUYER BEWARE!! We were downgraded from a three bedroom to a two bedroom unit without notification. We discovered the problem when the owner of the unit we thought we had rented answered the door when we arrived and told us that he had taken his unit out of the rental pool. When we looked at the check-in instructions sent the day before our holiday by LIFES THE BEACH, the unit number had indeed been switched without our notification. No phone call, no big bold writing on the check in document outlining the change. When we contacted the booking service they told us it wasn't their problem and we could cancel our reservation. Unlikely as we were in Parkville with our family for a wedding on a long weekend My wife and I had to book a hotel room which cost us an additional $520.00 ( we had to change hotel rooms once due to lack of vacancy) . We sent LIFES THE BEACH the hotel bills asking for some form of compensation. They had the audacity to suggest that we send our bill to the owner who had taken his unit out of the rental pool as it was his problem. There is so much wrong here that all I can suggest is that if you use this service its at your own peril

After moving to Oceanside I went to visitor centers to get some maps, as I wanted to explore the numerous parks I had heard about. The ladies at the center were so friendly and joyous. They put together a whole package filled with information and welcomed me warmly to my new home.

Great day on the water with Bill

Met Bev for the first time last week and headed out for a day ride along with seasoned Paradise Acres riders. We had no trouble in gathering up the horses, tacking up and decided half way into the ride to make it an 18 mile trek ;) Loved every minute of it! Lots of beautiful mountain top views, along the river and up along a ridge...through beautiful majestic trails. Great company and most certainly look forward to more rides with this crew. Safe horses and beautiful back country/valley trails and back roads on Vancouver Island! *****The best of the best of BC ***** My boyfriend had his first riding lesson ever in his life (he is 58) and he also loved being out there. We met some wonderful people and their horses that board there. Friendly and every level of riding experience or not. There is something for any age ;) Just like visiting your neighbour!

the staff were young but they knew their stuff and they were very friendly. I asked about several places and they were able to give me the info.

Great experience renting a mountain bike. Very thorough and covered all the bases. Also made a great recommendation for a stop along my biking route. Definitely would use their services again.

Insulted and not impressed. Was planning on renting a boat for 8hours. Called for information and pricing. Asked if they could email a pricelist and he told me that he had better things to do then do that. Obviously not interested in my business. Would have rented for more than 1 day😡

This event really is such a gem. A blend of adventure, history, exercise and sightseeing. A must do in the Okanagan.
