Veterinarian

The secretaries and the vet seem to lack interpersonal skills; no smiles - all business. My dog was there for her vaccines and I couldn't assist to this???? At my previous vet, I was there for all her vaccines, her nail clippings and her general check up. Makes you wonder what they have to hide. I will not be going back there again...even if some reviews claim that their prices are reasonable. I prefer driving out of the city and having a compassionate doctor for my animal.

I usually don't write reviews and when I tried to do this one I had to set up a google account first but Ash Vet Clinic is totally worth it!!! I have been going there for over 5 years and always knew they were great for many reasons, but I really appreciate the care for ALL of my creatures. They treat so many different pets- not just cats and dogs. Try finding one vet that will see my cat, dog, rabbit, and iguana in the same visit? No one in the area will even see the other 2. I called them on a Saturday to see about getting some medicine for my dog's skin but I couldn't bring him in that day. Dr. Broschay did ask to see him but understood that I couldn't come in and promptly gave me some medicine to get through the weekend until the next week when I was able to go there. It made all the difference and Butch began to clear up immediately! The girls called me right back which was surprising as well. The last time I took my cat in, Dr Broschay and the nurses made her calm because you can really tell how much they love the pets there. The girls at the front desk are so kind too. My kids favorite part of going there is the complimentary snacks and drinks while we are waiting. How nice! I used to go to a nearby big clinic but happily left because of their rude staff and difficulty in making an appointment not because they were booked up but because their doctors are not flexible with their schedule. I also did try to go to other newer clincs because I was told they were cheaper but quickly found out that I couldn't understand the one doctor and the other clinic while everyone was nice, I wasn't impressed when my dog needed an explore surgery of his stomach and the doctor said she wasn't comfortable doing it. I called Ash and they said to bring him down immediately and they did surgery after the clinic was closed so I didn't have to go to emergency or the specialtty place. I was so appreciative after I found out how much the surgery would have costed me at those places. In a nutshell, the care is excellent, the staff and doctor is excellent, and the prices are good too. Thank you Ash Vet for always being there for my beloved children.

Amazing place. The doctor and techs all make you feel like they love your pet as much as you do. They are helpful and friendly. You might have to wait, but you are waiting because they will give you and your pet the best possible care. I would rather they take their time and save my cat rather then rush through and miss something.

Our dog, Teddy Bear looked like a million bucks after his day at the spa!

My cat, Tiger is 23 years old and they treat him like he is a kitten. He is a good cat and kind to all. He has a reoccurring cyst on his neck that needs to be drained. At Tigers age I do not want any heroic measures being taken place so as it fills with fluid i take him to have it drained and they only charge me a minimal fee. I did take him to another vets before going here and they charged me $400 for the same thing and sedated my cat with the statement that they cannot guarantee that he will come out of the sedation. Orleans Veterinary Hospital did not even venture to think to sedate Tiger mostly due to his age and they charge me $30 to drain this cyst. I posted this review over a year ago. Things have changed with my now 24 yr old cat. His cyst kept growing and I kept getting drained until it ruptured. I had them do the surgery on him (tearing me apart all day). He ended up riddled with infection and had to choose between surgery and euthanizing. I chose the surgery and very glad I did. He came through with flying colours and totally changed cat. If you can not put a price on your furballs then I highly suggest to use their services. He is 24 and going strong. Update- has been a few months since Tigers surgery and he is like he is 10 years younger. The staff at Orleans Vet are top notch. Dr Streib was very caring and Stephanie, Allanna, and Sheryl were all very good with his care. I would recommend this clinic without hesitation.

Very good staff in general. The doctor there is very knowledgeable, costs however are very expensive unfortunately. However, I would recommend them for people with typical pets such as cats, dogs, birds, hamsters etc... however I can't comment on exotic pets.

Best bet by far I ave experienced...knowledgeable staff, friendly

One of the best Veterinary Hospitals that I have been to. Dr. Purtscher and the rest of the staff are absolutely wonderful to the pets and the humans. Really caring and very thorough when there is a problem. They always follow up the visits with a phone call to make sure that everything is going well. I would highly recommend Trim Pet Hospital to everyone.
