Great selection of good wines at good prices

The cider is cheap!

I went in with a few questions that the other shops in town were unable to answer, the owner was there and was super knowledgeable, really informative of things I didn't even think I needed to know and willing to try and get anything I needed. Super friendly, would recommend if you are looking for anything related to wine, beer, or spirits that you go here first.

We moved from Victoria to Cranbrook last year. We have now ordered a few batches of the Traminer Riesling from Kootenay Winecrafters. It is fantastic. Everybody who has sampled it has raved about it. It's a full-bodied wine with a smooth finish. It's actually better than the gewurztraminer riesling that I have bought in the liquor stores and/or bottled at a winery in Victoria. The staff are friendly and helpful. Best of all, this shop is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. Obviously, they have other wines, but we are so happy with this (now our 'house wine') that we have not explored others. Creatures of habit, I guess. Just stop looking around and make this winery your first stop. Once we told the owner what we liked, she had a quick recommendation and nailed it. We both feel very comfortable when we order and/or go in to bottle our wine. Good music, good wine, good company.

What a pleasant time we had! Brenda was full of joy and very knowledgeable for the wine tasting! We stayed for a glass of wine under the pergola! Stunning place!

Owner was really friendly. Prices were reasonable. The Pinot Noir was lovely, and the Ice Wine we tried was probably the most complex I've ever had.

Surprisingly good wines (to be fair I don't drink a lot of wines from Idaho), but these were much better than some of the others I've had. Great space, friendly people, decent prices.
