For a long time I stopped practicing yoga. I had an uninspiring experience a few years back that I let get to me. Then about a year ago a friend of mine sent me a message with an opportunity to do some energy exchange at Tandava, and I had one of those moments where I knew that this was an opportunity that I had to take. I have to say that the past year has been a magical transformation for me. At first I was resistant to practice again because I felt unsure of the instructors (I injured myself at the last studio due to practicing too fast and too advanced without proper alignment and correction, to this day I still have pain), but I knew I needed to keep coming back every week for my energy exchange shift. It wasn't until Naresh offered me one of his workshops that my eyes were opened again. After the workshop I thought wow, this guy has a gift. Every Monday I began to take his class, and he helped me obtain a body awareness that I thought I already had. I learned the power of a slow practice and full breath, and the attentiveness to feel and flow with it using every cell in my body. This lesson has overflowed into an all-powerful love for my own yoga practice. I even have a home practice now! If I skip a day at Tandava you can bet I’ll be practicing in my living room. I now have a sense of community in which it is difficult to find the right words to describe… The owner, Dawn, has a humongous heart and you can certainly see and feel it just by stepping in the door. I have yet to be anything less then amazed by the authenticity, skills, and care given by every instructor, and the space is absolutely breathtaking. If you are thinking about checking this studio out, the hot tea will be on, the view will be impressive, and the people will be your friends. Thank you Tandava, I wouldn’t be on this marvelous journey without you. Namaste

Amazing place. Have never enjoyed working out in my life. Ever. Very addictive. People of every size and capability. Awesome trainers will customize your workout to suit your needs at every station. No pressure. Just fun.

Great and welcoming service. I am just getting back into yoga and I always find Moksha to be the most welcoming and supportive. I love the energy and space they create, I always am able to get into a great mindful practice there.

I came into the Kelowna store yesterday to return an online purchase. The service I received was super efficient and friendly.The staff here are always great, even when I’ve had to return a defective item. I’ve never had a problem at this location :D

Watch your bank accounts! When my membership ran out a few years ago, I noticed that they were still deducting the monthly payment, even though I went thru proper channels to make sure my membership was closed. Upon contacting them to have my money returned, I received almost “snotty” responses at my “impatience”. I finally got my money but not without attitude. They don’t understand they are stealing? It’s been a year now & I just noticed they started deducting the payment from my account again. I contacted them. 3 days later I got a response that said they would have accounting look into it. “Thank you for your patience”.That was a week ago. Yesterday I emailed and asked for an update but no reply. Now I have to carefully watch my bank account to make sure 30 Minute Hit doesn’t steal my money every month? And I still don’t have my money back.

Love this store, amazing atmosphere, great selection, best prices compared to other yoga stores, that makes you want to come back again and again. Staff are so nice

Did my first hot yoga at the west side studio today with instructor Ally. She was amazing and the class flowed beautifully. I will definitely be returning for more classes as I felt so empowered and rejuvenated when I left the studio. Namaste!
