John with Reeves Auto Repair recently worked on my truck and I was very pleased with his attention to detail and professionalism. So the other reason I'm writing this review is share my latest experience with Reeves Auto. Last Sunday on my way home from Vacation I broke down on I-5 still three hours from home. The next morning I called John seeing as he was the last one to work on my truck. In some small way I was hoping he wasn't responsible for the issues at hand. John offered to pay for the first two hours of service to diagnose the issue and thanks goodness it had nothing to do with his previous work. I felt bad making that call but John assured me that it was ok. The amazing part to this all this is that John continued to stay in contact with the me and the other mechanic to make sure I was taken care of. He went above and beyond the call of duty!! If your vehicle isn't under the care of Reeves Auto repair your making a huge mistake!! Thanks again John!

Driving from LA to SF, I had trouble with my old Prius just south of Santa Barbara. Ayers was the closest repair so I took a chance. EXCELLENT service! Ran a good diagnostic, found a good price to fix the problem, and provided excellent customer service.

I had a number of issues on my BMW that were quoted at a cost substantially more at the dealership vs Haik’s prices. Haik provided excellent service and kept me informed throughout the process. Great work and great guy.

This place is a total ripoff, stay away from them. I went there with a problem, they diagnosed it and called me to tell me that it's one of the ignition coils and it's going to be close to a grand for parts & labor. Bought the parts from the shop for $75 and spent 15 minutes replacing the coil in my driveway. This was NOT a 2-3 hour job or whatever they were charging me for. And because I refused to pay their usury rates, they charged me $120 for diagnostics - this was not disclosed to me when I dropped off the car.

THIS COMPANY AND THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR THEM ARE ALL SCAM ARTISTS. Do not use this towing company unless you are okay with being quoted one price ($250/HR), only to pay $650/HR for being towed less than 10 feet. LESS THAN 10 feet! And in reading all these other horrible reviews, $650 seems to be the bill they give everyone regardless. Will be filing with the BBB and CA Consumer Affairs.

I wouldn't recommend this repair shop to anybody that's having problems with no start/no crank or any sort of electrical problems.Jhon really has no clue on troubleshoot and test any electrical car equipment and fail to do a proper battery connections inspection. I ended up paying them $450 for unnecessary repairs (starter and starter relay) on my Lexus IS which at then didn't fix the problem. All it needed was some cleaning on the starter cable terminal connector with a wire brush and a new positive battery terminal which I ended up doing myself, after Jhon(Owner) wanted to pull a fast one again from me, telling me that I had to change all my battery wiring because has corrosion right after I had already payed the $450. At least he gave me the clue where the problem was. After dealing with Jhon my opinion about him is that he's a crook or he has lack of experience or both. They gave me a 3 year warranty for the starter, but honestly even if that cheap remanufactured starter would go bad in the next day or so I wouldn't take my car with them "NEVER AGAIN" even if is covered with any kind of warranty. Thanks for nothing Jhon Wright.

The kindness that Kim and her staff showed to us, was beyond great customer service. Our transmission line tore, on the way to show my little handicapped grandson the ocean for the first time. He had been having a few seizures that morning so we were being careful. We pulled into Aamco and Kim came out and greeted us, we explained our problem and she said don’t worry we’ll take care of you. Alejandro was wonderful with my grandson and went above and beyond for us. I would recommend this business to anyone. Thank you Kim and crew, I will be forever grateful to you. Nancy
