I have been doing my hair with Alicia for years. I am a picky customer yet she always exceeds my expectations! She used to work for Visible Changes and started working here. She is professional and friendly, can't wait to go to Studio Flores soon, i know i won't be disappointed.

I wish there is a 0 star rating. I asked to do a top 4, then 3 and 2 on the bottom cut. The hair cutter confirmed with me twice then started to chit chat. I believe she used the wrong number and decided to use number 2 to shave me without asking. WTF

This is a great little salon. It's both homey and chic; a great combination that leaves you feeling like you're in good hands. They use high quality products and tools, so my hair always feels wonderful. I've never felt dissatisfied with what I've had done, when I left. I'd highly recommend the salon, and specifically Danica, as I'm a regular of hers (though, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the stylists that work there).

Absolutely horrific experience never again

I saw that this salon was giving free blowouts a few months ago so I went in and had one done and it was awesome! I LOVED the way my stylist did my hair. Fast forward to now. I had a friend in town who was staying with me and having some photos taken and wanted to get a blow out before her pictures. I recommended Spruce and told her I liked mine so much last time I would just get one for the heck of it and we could make a night of it and go Downton and get a nice dinner afterwards since we will have good hair. We got there and the stylist I had this time (was not the same as the original one) asked me what I was looking for. I told her I wanted some loose/ “beachy” waves and that I liked to have the ends straightened out. It was then that she told me if I wanted her to use any heating tools on my hair it would be an additional fee...other than the free blowout I got at this salon the first time I haven’t ever gotten just a “blowout” before, so although I found that really strange, I thought that may be “the norm”. Since I was just joining my friend and didn’t really have anywhere to be and was already spending $40 on someone to just blow dry my hair, I didn’t want to spend more money on getting her to curl my hair so told her okay I guess I would just style my hair myself when I got home. She blew dry my hair and tossed it around a little and that was it and she left. I wasn’t impressed with how my hair looked (to say the least) but if that’s was included in their normal blowout process I wasn’t going to say anything. I stayed in my chair and waited for my friend to be done. After about 20 minutes of sitting there (we had booked the same type of appointment at the same exact time and mine was already “done” (she did add on a bang trim so that added on a few extra minutes to her time but definitely not that long)), kind of confused by how my hair looked, asked “are you done?” I said “I guess so...”. Meanwhile, the stylist my friend had started to curl her hair so I curiously asked her “how much extra is it to have your hair curled?” She seemed confused by my question so I proceeded to tell her that my stylist had told me it was extra if I wanted my hair styled with a heating tool. She told me it should be included and acted kind of confused by why my stylist would have told me that. She finished styling my friends hair (which looked BEAUTIFUL by the way) and we went to pay. It was at this time that I should have spoken to the person checking me out and told her my concerns but I knew my friend needed to get going to her shoot so I didn’t. Once we got in the car we FaceTimed our other friend and were telling her what happened and all 3 of us were laughing at how bad my hair looked( while also annoyed that I had actually paid for it to look like that) and they both confirmed that it is definitely not the norm for your hair not to be styled when getting a blowout. I am giving them 3 stars because the first blowout I had was great, as was my friends but don't know that I would go back there. If styling isn't included in a blowout, I can easily find 100 other salons in the area where it is for the same price. And if it is, I don't know why my stylist lied to me?

This was my first time visiting this place for a haircut. The hairdresser was very cheerful and friendly.

Lily has been my absolute go-to for 2 years now after several trials and failures elsewhere since moving to Austin.

In and out real quick. Dijana was very friendly and easy to talk to. The other lady cutty hair next to her was very friendly also. I did not catch her name but i would recommend getting your hair cut by one of those 2. I will be back again.

I have gone to this location for years. Today I took my daughter for both of us to get hair cuts. My daughter was taken back. The male stylist finished a cut, cleaned his station then got on his phone. Never came to take me back. A guy walks in and he walks up to take him back. Never acknowledged me. The stylist cutting my daughters hair told him that he skipped me. He just looked at me and turned around and cut the guys hair. Never even apologized. My daughters stylist got another one that was going on break to cut my hair. I appreciate the two women that work there. I made sure they knew it when we were leaving. The guy stylist showed terrible terrible customer service.
