I had a very awful experience with this place. Yesterday I made an appointment to get my haircut at this place at 10 in the morning. I come in and there is only one person cutting hair and I am the next customer in line so I wait there for 30 minutes which is fine. Another man comes in and demands that he be seen first because he logged in to Supercuts to get an appointment that morning at 10. I was there first but then she decided she wanted to see the next gentleman in line so my haircut was then pushed back another 30 minutes so I just left. So they lost my business. This Supercuts is a product of being in Magnolia, Seattle, where all the rich old people feel entitled to walk all over everybody else. This town is awful and so is it's Supercuts.

Ooh-La's has great service, and a nice ambiance. I have curly hair, and let me tell you - it's hard to find a good curly hair cut. I called to make an appointment, blind, and I was so pleasantly surprised. I used to scoff at paying $70 for a haircut, but I've adapted to the times. Try Ooh-La's, you won't regret it. P.S. Free bang cuts are included if you need a quick trim before a hot date.

I have lived a block from this salon for three years. In all that time I have never once seen anyone inside -- neither patron nor proprietor. It seems the only time anyone enters the establishment is to post misguided signs inside the window. Once they posted an, "All Lives Matter" sign. Just recently they put up a sign saying, "Save 35th Ave [...] Keep our parking. Put bike lanes on side streets." If they really wanted to improve 35th Ave they would close forever and open up the space to a business that would actually be useful to the community.
