Worst salon I have ever! I went to Blush Salon based on their reviews. I went for streaks. They tried twice and my hair is burnt and greyish brown. I wanted blonde streaks with some low lights. I paid them $180 for them to ruin my hair. I called to see what they could do for me. Nobody called back just kept telling me someone will call me back. Well it had been 4 days and I thought I would just go in and explain that I wasn't happy with my burnt greyish brown hair. My hair was burnt and I don't have grey hair! Worst coloring job I ever had! I was devastated. I decided to go to the salon and see what they could do for me. I went into the salon and there was a large lady sitting at the front desk. I told her that I was unhappy with my hair. She said I don't see anything wrong with your hair and the police have been called.! I left just devastated crying and then I get a call from the RCMP. Wow they used the law to get out of doing anything to fix the problem! I paid them $180.

I have been going to Hair Mix for over 5 years and have always come out with an amazing hair cut, colour, or style for a reasonable price. I have gone to Sarah over the last year and I can't not be happier! She is easy to talk to and makes getting your hair done an enjoyable experience as she has a great eye for what will work with your hair.

As someone with long hair it is a great fear of mine that a hairdresser will somehow be inspired to cut off all my hair at a random moment. I went to Sashi after just moving to Calgary and in desperate need of a trim and bangs (that I have never had before). I was definately putting myself at risk. I got lost on the way there, forgot to take the number of the salon with me and Sashi called me when I was 10mins late to give me directions. The place is basically a hole in the wall next to a convenience store and I was a little afraid. It's small on the inside yet nice and simple and has a child's corner where my son coloured and played while we were there. I brought in a few pictures of one celebrity whose hair I loved...AND she cut it exactly as I wanted!! Super reasonable prices too!! It has been a month since Sashi cut my hair and I love this new 'do more and more everyday!! Call Trends for your next haircut...she even does waxing, weddings and nails!
