I had the manager of smart style (Crystal Ouellete) cut and colour my hair and it was by far the worst experience and the worst results I have ever had. I can’t believe she is the manager!

Both myself and my sister have been coming to this salon for over 11 years. We are always greeted and welcomed by reception staff & manager Fabio each time as we walk in to see our wonderful and talented stylist Maria. Environment is a laid back atmosphere where I don't feel like an outcast. Staff are friendly,helpful & sociable. Unlike most places, most staff are senior staff who have been there a long time, which shows to me they are a happy bunch & management is doing something right!

My barber Tony closed up shop so I went around the corner to Lisa's. I'm a cheap ass when it comes to haircuts. I have short hair and it doesnt take long to cut it, so I'll never pay 20+ for a haircut. Walked into Lisa's on a Monday and had Tapan cut my hair. He has a special for men, $11 bucks from Monday to Wednesday. That can't be beat anywhere in the city for the quality of haircut. I showed Tapan a pic of the cut I wanted and he said no problem. He expertly faded and cut my hair, finishing with a straight razor line up. The quality of haircut was astounding, especially for the price. Tapan is my guy now, and I'll send anyone who needs a haircut there. Don't let the area fool you, you will be more than welcome into Lisa's

Hands down to the team of this location in Downtown! Their service and customer is up to top level, they have the best in hair care and the most trendy and in-style colors and hair styles! Satoru for me is like a hair magician! He is super knowledgeable, patience and very dedicates. Your hair is in the best hands. His suggestions are always made to suit your needs and expectations.

I made two appointments with them in July to get my hair done for a wedding in the area. I was in the wedding party and timing was crucial. We arrived 5 minutes before our appointment at 11:55. They only have three stylists on duty, two of which had customers for 11:30 which still had not been seen when we arrived. We waited at the desk till 12:10 and no one came to speak to us. We approached a stylist and she shrugged and said they were behind schedule and that I should go get a coffee. I told her time was very important and she said..."sometimes we are behind" Shrug again. We waited till 12:30 and still not one of us or the other customers were being seen. I went to other salons in the plaza and found one to take me and they only did the hair for one of the appointments I made. After the hair was complete I complained to the salon and she just said..." We would have got to you." I had to pay more than double at another salon and the experience was highly stressfull. This is a terrible unreliable salon! They gave the girl who had her hair done there a discount but their service was rude and unprofessional. They didn't plan to have enough staff and knew that this was for a wedding. This is unacceptable and I would recommend avoiding them.

I live in this area. This is a Really bad place to get a Haircut. Not even close to a decent cut. Been here more then once and they don't care about customers satisfaction & unsanitary tools.

Didn't get my hair done here but went to get something for my wife.. staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
