Jenn has been doing my hair since 2007. I've lived in Boston & San Francisco--had my hair done by "the best," but none have even come close to doing highlights like Jenn; she hits that perfect tone every time. Does beautiful cuts too (I have long straight hair with layers--so mistakes are easy to see). For awhile I thought, haircutting is a lost art--so rarely did I get a good haircut...until I found Jenn. She's a real artist...and I love her funky salon in downtown Champaign.

Michael is the BEST EVER! I would give him an A PLUS! He's exceptionally bright, extremely talented (in many things over and above being a stylist), very knowledgeable about all facets of coloring, ACTUALLY listens to what you want, evaluates & can suggest great options depending on your hair & face- is an AMAZING expert in haircuts, coloring, and best of all delightful to talk to! A gifted man of many abilities. I went to him for years before moving out of state & oh...my...goodness- other hair stylists PALE in comparison to him!- SO- when we return to the area, I HAVE to make appointments with him again! Fuad's Salon is a pleasant welcoming place to come, also--- great personnel there and always smiles to the customers- from when you walk in the door till when you leave quite pleased!

I've been going here for a fair amount of my college career and I've left satisfied every time. Friendly staff and good haircuts for good prices. Keep an eye out for coupons to make it even cheaper!

I went there at 5.05pm so roughly an hour before they close at 6pm. They had only one guy waiting for haircut whose turn was up when I arrived. The staff first directed me to check in and then asked me to leave and come another day with one roughly hour still to go before close. It says on a big board at the entrance "no wait" and no appointment necessary. In my experience, staff cost cutters nearby and Borcis have been extremely friendly as opposed to my experience at Hair Cuttery. The apology wasn't sincere by any means as it was followed by arrogant denying service. Cant tell if it was a racist response on behalf of the staff or they are simply lazy and don't care about customers.

Great place! I got exactly what I wanted in a quick amount of time and for a very fair price. The woman is very sweet and did a fantastic job.

I’ve been here three times. First time was for an iron perm. Second time was for a haircut. And third was for an iron perm again that I just got today. Sopi (I believe that’s her name?) is THE BEST hair stylist/dresser on campus. I’m originally from Chicago and have been to several Asian salons for perming. Chicago’s perming is good but Sopi’s infamous iron perm is amazing. The perms from Chicago salons are traditional perms so the waves/curls aren’t natural whereas the iron perm method that Sopi uses is super natural. Also, i want to point out that after getting perms from Juno, my hair doesn’t feel as dry and damaged compared to the perms from Chicago. I knew this is a Korean hair salon so I was scared the first time i went in that she might not understand what I want. But oh am i wrong, Sopi speaks both Korean and English. She is super personable and kind. Throughout the entire perming process and hair trimming, she’ll talk to you to reassure that “everything will be okay, you have to trust me.” Juno Hair is amazing and Sopi is the best!

Good haircut place on campus, the service is usually quick, people are polite there. The quality of haircut is usually good if you are on time to the appointment and give them enough time.

I have been seeing Ben for almost three years thanks to a recommendation from a good friend of mine who has worked alongside Ben on set. Ben transformed my hair, as someone who has naturally curly hair I had never had a haircut in 26 year that allowed me to wear my hair naturally curl and without hassle. I enjoy every experience in the salon to get my hair cut, Ben and his team are funny, welcoming and make every experience a great one!
