Wow! I was given the recommendation to try this and I am thankful I listened. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience was divine. I didn’t have to wait at all for dinner at 6pm. This house made pita was KILLER! I could have lived off that alone. I chose the brick chicken per the recommendation of m waiter. It was very flavorful - a little on the salty side but moist and tender. Portions were acceptable, I left satisfied. Total bill equates to $30 after tip. Extensive wine, beer and spirit list were available.

I stopped by solo to check this out and was not disappointed. Sitting at the preparation bar was a treat, although the actual preparation was a bit out of sight. I had a hummus appetizer with Israeli Nan Bread as the perfect delivery medium. As my lamb chop delivery was a bit slow, not enough to notice really due to the busy Friday night, a pro bono salad appeared. Much appreciated. Finally the lamb chops might have been the best I have ever had - grilled to perfection and with a spice payload that made them shine. I order lamb all over the world so this is a big compliment.

This place is a little overpriced to be honest, but come here during happy hour and it’s a little more reasonable. Pictured is the bacon wrapped dates $2/each during happy hour. It’s delicious and sweet and it’s sitting in some sort of honey sauce. It’s pretty good! Happy hour is 4-5:30pm so park on the side of the street for $2/hour.

Flavorful and consistently good food. Decent vegetarian options too, which is not the case for all their sister restaurants. I always order the labneh and cauliflower. My meat-eating partner loves it too. The wait times can be long but it's worth it. The only problem is that they often change the menu and some of my favorites have disappeared for good.

Amazing great food! We were unfamiliar with the menu we asked the server to bring apps of her/kitchen recommendations. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! Again ALL THE FOOD AND SERVICE IS FANTASTIC! Highly recommend to all friends and newbies to Portland.
