Great family style Italian. Food is outstanding and the owner is so nice and greets everyone that comes in with a big smile. Great place. Will certainly eat there again when I’m Portland.

DELICIOUS, authentic Italian food! We go all over Portland and eat and somehow have not come across this little gem. We felt like we were in Italy at a gourmet Italian restaurante, food was fabulous, service was great. Will be back!

Alright.. I kinda randomly chose this place. I had a really, really bad dinner in Little Italy in New York. So, my usual 6 month Italian craving was not satiated. (I tend to not do Italian, even when I'm in Italy) So, I open tabled this place, sight unseen, a few days before Christmas. Holy smokes, did I get lucky. The scallaps with Anise on Brussels sprouts... to die for. The wild boar ragu...mild, intricate mix of game, pasta, and sauce. A circus of flavors, so dense and delicate. I will admit, the Prosciutto + fig crustini was not my cup of tea. Far too sweet, but I can understand how someone could like the flavor. All in all, great place, with a beautiful space. Great service. A place I feel bad not exploring and want to come back too. (With a big appetite and pay day) Caveats: come with an appetite. My dieting, random butt walked in and was done before a main course. Expect to pay a bit, this is not Little Caesers, it is a high class restuarant. It would be nice to have a prix fixe menu. You'll want more courses, and this place could compete with any of the high class Portland restuarants.

Giorgio is a flavor wizard! By far one of the best Italian restaurants in the Pearl, and a hidden jem of Portland. I've been here several times over many years, and never had a bad dish, and it's always a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tasteful treat if you are interested in gourmet Italian meal.
