As a veteran of the US Coast guard it was the best 8 years I did.

Pros: Clean bathroom facilities, outdoor open shower, large swimming area, boat launch, and beautiful scenery. Con: water can give you lake itch if you don't shower thoroughly after swimming.

Great place with a public boat ramp off the beaten path. Also a nice protected anchorage in the bay out front.

Loved coming here as a kid for christmas cookies, sailing lessons and come here occasionally for wonderful service and eloquent 5 star service.

Great shop to deal with, helped my friend out with his two boats and then hooked me up with a killer deal on a wake surf board!!! Can't wait to try it this summer! Kevin was super knowable about the surf boards and all the products he sells!

I recently purchased a used boat from Marine One . Upon receiving the boat I was promised a few things would be repaired once parts were ordered and delivered. After waiting a month or so the parts were in. I brought the boat in for service and made a list of exactly what needs to be done plus a few things I would like done outside of the promised repairs. I have a upcoming fishing trip so i wanted to make sure everything was up to spec and seaworthy. Upon picking the boat up it was a total disaster from what I considered a clean boat when it was dropped off. - The cabin had all my fishing gear in complete disarray. I would have gladly come down and removed it myself or at the very least box it up until I picked up the boat. - I had asked to have my main motor fully serviced ( spark plugs , oil, water separators etc ) and install a auxiliary motor steering system. None of this was done though even I had asked to have it done. - There were greasy hand prints all over the back half of the boat . - I asked them to instal a new chartplotter . They filled the old holes with silicone but made a mess of filling the old holes. That will need to be scraped clean on my own time. - The windows were left unziped for some reason so there was pooling water at the base of the new electronics. - When fishing transducer wires from the helm to back of the boat they unscrewed a side compartment but never though to screw it back? - Chartplotter/ fishfinder they installed isn't set up correctly, they installed the transducer in the wrong location and forgot to hook up the existing one after they relocated it. The list goes on and on. The staff are friendly enough but the lack of attention to detail & communication is without of doubt not there strong point. I will certainly not recommend anybody to deal with Marine One. There mechanic said it best " we are a budget shop , what do you expect " Take your money elsewhere.

I Agree with most negative reviewers here, there is only one or two guys who really know anything. The east Indian women in cashier did not know anything there.In a nut shell the section is good but front cashier staff are usless and the business hours are a joke.
