My family and I have been Freedom members out of a Florida location for the last 3 years. We have vacationed on Lake Lanier the past two summers and used reciprocal privileges at this location. Both visits, Allison and staff have been fantastic. The reservation process was easy and the boats have been great. This is one of the best boat tours I have taken (and I've quite a few in various parts o the world). The tour takes you by zodiac out to the uninhabited island of Isle Haute in the Bay of Fundy. The scenery is spectacular (high cliffs, seals, and an eagle) and the captain's narrative of the history and lore of the island first rate. Safety is a prime concern and everyone is supplied with an immersion suit. We never felt like we were in any danger but the suit was appreciated when the spray periodically came and the cool winds of the Bay (even though it was summer) were felt. We drove out of our way to do the tour - it didn't disappoint. It's popular so make sure you book if you are going.
