During our cruise, we had a stop at Charlottetown in September 2018 and rented a vehicle from the PEI Car Rental. The office location is very convenient, practically right by the cruise terminal. The owners Mr. and Mrs. Toprak greeted me with a smile and completed the paperwork very quickly and handed me the key. The car was a brand new Toyota Camry as per the photo below. It was clean, filled up with gas and ready to go. Our 4-5 hour drive with frequent stops was very smooth and we returned the car before its scheduled time. The owners asked if everything went okay with the car. Their rates are very reasonable. It was a great pleasure to do business with the PEI Car Rental. I highly recommend this local PEI business for anyone looking for a rental car at PEI. You won't be disappointed. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Toprak for your superb service.

Заранее зарезервировал авто, заплатил кредиткой. Прилетел и... машину не дали из за того что кредитная карта предоплатная, хотя и деньги на ней были. И предлагал заплатить страховой депозит наличными. Короче пришлось передвигаться на такси и частично пешком. Буду теперь выбивать уплаченные деньги назад!

I specifically requested a Ford and though they didn’t have it, drove one out to my destination. Exceptional customer service !

Worst experience I ever had renting a car. When I called in to reserve my car almost a month in advanced they confirmed that ill get a small econ car for 150$ for 4 days 3 nights . When I've arrived to pick up the car they charged me 411$ and gave me a grand caravan and told me that I can have a smaller car for extra 25$ because they have snow tires on them . Obviously I'm never coming back

Truly the nicest and kindest people here. I was having transmission troubles that required my vehicle to be towed back to Winnipeg to repair. They were kind enough to rent me their last truck for the weekend so I could continue my journey and had no problem with me leaving my car in their lot while I waiting for the tow truck to arrive. They were very supportive of my situation and did not take advantage of my car rental needs given the situation I was in. Highly recommended.

My sister made a reservation and you didn't even have a car for her. No offer to try and find one from another location. Poor customer experience!

What great service we got from these people! I had to divert my small aircraft to the Trenton airport due to bad weather in Halifax, and these folks not only stayed late so I could get a car and drive home that night, but they even waited for me to land and picked me up at the airport. The rate was reasonable, and when I returned the car the next day, they happily drove me back to the airport. I would totally recommend this company - great service with a smile!

We booked a compact and got an 8 seater SUV because that was the only vehicle available when we arrived early afternoon. Not only that, the terms of the rental were not properly explained to us upon receiving the vehicle. We were told that all I needed to pay was the cost shown on the online booking which had already been charged to my Visa and paid before I arrived. However when I returned the car at the airport, I was charged an additional 0.33 per km. I drove that vehicle almost 1500 km all over Nova Scotia. Needless to say I was appalled by the additional cost of almost $500. My husband spoke to the manager at the Halifax airport location and she told us she had removed the charges but when we returned out I got charged for the mileage. What a way to ruin a trip. NEVER EVER renting from Avis again.
